To me mental health is so freaking important. I’ve been dealing with anxiety and depression since I can remember, so ino how hard it can be to just get out of bed and make yourself a cup of tea. And i completely understand that not a lot of people get it but telling somebody with a mental illness to just "snap out of it" makes things worse. Believe me it does NOT help but I promise speaking to somebody that you can trust enough to listen to how your feeling helps take that heaviness off you chest. And YES it may take you weeks, months or even years like it has me to get to the other side of whatever hell your going through but who cares what people think? as long as your getting the help you deserve. So like my doctor tells me every week “your strong and you can get through this one day at a time”.
