Welcome to the CVGA (Central Virginia Geocaching Association)! The CVGA is open to all geocachers in the Central Virginia Region (and surrounding areas). We have monthly 1st Saturday events, monthly 3rd Saturday meet and greets, and our yearly big event in June. We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy this interesting hobby!

Cachemas 2020!

Starting on 12/25/20, and running until 01/05/21, one new cache will be published per day (with a bonus at the end). Find the caches, collect the clues, and you will be able to find the Cachemas Final!

Any item(s) will do: gently used things, gift cards, cache containers, baked goods, etc. If you want to donate cash, our geo-shoppers will do the shopping for you! [Upcoming Event] March, 2020, Third Saturday

The "March, 2020, Third Saturday" Event (https://coord.info/GC8M4WD) will be Saturday (03/21/20) from 4:00 PM. to 7:00 PM.

Come out for a geo-get-together with your geopeeps at Capital Ale House Midlothian! Cap Ale is known for their ales but of course there are other drinks, good sandwiches, and huge yummy pretzels, too.

If you're new to the area, or new to geocaching, this is a GREAT event to come to! We're exceedingly friendly, and we all love to bring new folks into the fold!

Note to Newbies and Visitors: Don't be dissuaded by the small number of RSVPs on this event! Since it's monthly mostly people come without replying. There are always plenty of fun people here! And this restaurant is totally kid-friendly!
