Ahhh, the sweet taste of being right. She watched Jack’s demeanor brighten at the mention of free food. She understood entirely; she had been like that earlier. Still, food was food. She’ll still have a lot of it, regardless of who’s gil they’re using. 

So she'd caught him skipping before-- why hadn't he noticed? Had she not approached him? Ah, probably not, he thought to himself. He wasn't particularly surprised; this was Sice, after all.

Jack was probably one of the most fun to mess with. One mention of girls, and he’s flustered for the next week. Sice grinned once Jack reluctantly agreed to pay for her. Ahh, the poor sap. Maybe she’d cut him some slack.

He shot Sice a look, but brightened immediately when she offered to pay. Now he'd be able to last the rest of the week-- though if he didn't stop playing cards at the lounge, he'd probably be out of pocket soon after his next mission as well. Jack never had been very good at managing gil.

Sice cocked her head in a confused fashion. Did he really think she was just gonna let him get away scat-free? No way. She was gonna win this, and come out with snacks to last her a long time. Food always tasted better when it was free anyways.

"Aw, c'mon, Sice..." he whined, pulling his wallet from his back pocket and counting up the gil. There was just enough for a couple meals more. He groaned. He couldn't afford to have lousy marks again... and he really didn't want Queen knowing he'd been skipping out on class, intentionally or unintentionally. She could be scarier than Kurasame, sometimes.
