A good example of a familiar is the rare Hydra Dragon. A snake body, 6 wings of feathers and the heads of every kind of dragon known, very hard to tame and extremely rare. And in fact i have one. *I whistle and a small snake with 6 small feathered wings and multiple heads slithered up to my shoulder* meet Arita. *She hisses at first and chitters*

She hadn’t really needed to eat as much when she was in her ghost form, but now that she was back to being human the familiar sensation of hunger was present again. Generally speaking you summon one. But since you don’t know Summoning Magic but i do i can help you get one. Thing is, Familiars are picky critters. They only follow those they like. But im sure you’ll find one. Only takes a drop of your blood and the magic opens a portal to the familiar realm. One familiar sensing you flies through and you’ll have to bond with it. Some you fight, some don’t need to taming. It mainly depends on your personality and powers. Its the primary lure.

Ill teach you everything i know. But i save the best for last. *I focus my eyes turning blue and my hair turning white as a glyph appears and a large Scorpion made of ice appears* This is the hardest and rarest form of ice magic: Glyph Summoning. Took me almost 2 years to do this. Luckily being in another realm makes time stay its hand. Oh i forgotten to mention that. Time flows different here. We could spend years here only for minutes to pass in our world.
