Hello. I just wanted to ask, what happened to Generations school tv? Itâs been a while.
Basically, itâs on indefinite hiatus. Kind of like GENEsubs as a whole. Itâs hard to sub videos since it takes so much time and everybody has so little extra time to do it. Particularly translators are hard to find as well. Me and the person who was translating and timing this show got busy so it kinda fell to the background of our lives which is basically what happens on every show.
I think Iâm probably just not gonna do full shows if this team ever comes off hiatus. Iâll just do one off appearances and things like that. Even if I ever learn Japanese myself I donât know if Iâd ever be able to commit to a full show. I took one year of Japanese but I never really got good at it or was able to continue learning. Iâll probably pick it back up WAY into the future. Right now Iâm actually minoring in Korean. Anyway, thatâs off topic.
Thanks for asking and sorry to everyone whose been frustrated with this âteamâ (not even really a team anymore, just me tbh) over the years but please understand itâs really hard to find people who have time to do translation work free of charge.
