I was just reading your tag on binding without binders, and I wanted to suggest one sports bra I've found that works really well: the Champion Power Core bra (they also make one that's meant to be even more firm, the Power Core Max, but the Target I bought mine at didn't have any in my size). I'm fairly average-sized for an AFAB person (5'3", 135lbs, 34D), so I can't say how well it'd work for somebody with bigger breasts, but it's probably a good option for a lot of people. You can definitely medically transition however you like while also being genderfluid, if that’s what you’re asking. You can also socially transition and/or use she-type pronouns while being genderfluid, if that’s what you’re asking. You can be genderfluid and also identify as a woman, if that’s what you’re asking. So basically, yes.

Hia, I'm sixteen and pansexual. Recently, I've been thinking of my self identity. The main thing that keeps running through my mind is genderfluid. Sometimes I feel more girly, and others I feel more boyish. Sometimes I just kinda feel like a dude trapped in a girls body, wear boyish clothes, and other times I like to dress nice and look pretty. I'm really confused. Also, I have long hair, and I'm kinda wanting to cut it, but I'm scared to. But if I am genderfluid, what would I do?

I hate it when people use the bi means two or more thing to tell me I'm bi and not pan. This has happened on several occasions. I have always though of bi as attraction to any two genders (not specifically the binaries) and pan as attraction to all?
That’s annoying. You get to decide which word/identity is the best fit for you, not other people. Many bi people see bisexuality as attraction to two or more / same or other genders, and that’s legit, but that doesn’t mean that everyone who might fit those definitions has to use that word rather than another word that they feel fits better. It’s up to the individual.

You’re the only one who can decide that. It could mean a lot of different things, including being a feminine guy, especially since “feel girly” can mean any number of things. But you’re the only one who can know what answer feels right. It’s okay not to know.

I was just wondering if you had seen any asks in your ask box lately? It looks like none have been answered in awhile
We currently have 738 asks in the askbox. It just takes time and energy to answer them, and it can be an overwhelming task, and most of them are repetitive, and I often feel that I’ve said what I have to say here.

I dont understand why some genderfluid people get upset that people dont use preferred pronouns, especially when gender changes everyday and is therefore unpredictable and uncertain to know their preferred pronouns that day. Also i have seen videos of genderfluid people likening refusal or ignorance of using preferred pronouns to assault, is this a few bad apples spoiling the bunch or is the feeling of people rejecting the idea of preferred pronouns as bad as getting punched physically?
They get upset because it hurts. It hurts a lot. It’s a fundamental disrespect for them as a person. Yes, for many people it is as bad as or worse than getting punched. There is scientific research showing that misgendering is a significant factor in trans people being suicidal. I know it was for me. If you don’t know how to know what a given person’s pronouns are at a given time, talk to them and ask them how they’d like you to handle it--maybe they have pronouns for when you don’t know or for talking about them in general, maybe they have a button or something they wear to tell you their current pronouns, maybe they have pronouns they’re comfortable with all the time. Using people’s correct pronouns is not optional. Deliberate misgendering (or just not caring enough to bother using the right pronouns) is a really, really awful and damaging thing to do to a trans person, and yeah, it’s a verbal assault on who a person is at the core. Even if you don’t understand that on an emotional level, it’s true, and now you know. Use people’s preferred pronouns. Use people’s preferred pronouns. Use people’s preferred pronouns.

hi! I am genderfluid and I really need some support. I found trans and questioning support group (I'm from Poland) and I wonder if I can go there? Or am I not trans enough and other people need it more so I shouldn't?
You are definitely trans enough and can go there. The group will almost certainly welcome you--but if they don’t, they’re wrong, and it doesn’t reflect anything about you; there will be other places.

I don't (to my knowledge) know any genderfluid people and am trying to educate myself. In the case of someone who uses different pronouns at different times, what would be an appropriate way to ask? The best I can think of is "What are your current pronouns?" I saw a post about using a bracelet to indicate pronouns to friends, but of course that is an individual choice. Basically, I want to know what I can do to make someone with fluid pronouns more comfortable.
That’s a great way to ask. Just talk to them--I guarantee they’ve thought about it. Ask if they have a way they like to let people know or a way they like people to ask or address them. Thanks for caring!

Hi! I have known my bestfriend for 7 years. We are both girls. She is gay and and she is considering that she is genderfluid. I'm bisexual and i am genderfluid. My friend has helped me with my depression and stuff like that. I have also helped her with her problems at home. And i'm starting to think that i'm starting to fall for her. But i was just wondering, can we actually date? I don't know what she feels abt me and i don't know should i ask her abt it.
Just talk to your friend and find out if she’s interested. Of course you can date if you both want to. That’s what matters.
