Here’s some fucking advice yall:
Middle school is worse than high school.
High school is worse than college.
No one fucking knows what they’re doing, we’re all just faking it and pretending we understand so people will respect us but if you tell us we’re doing it wrong, you’re probably right because rarely does someone know better.
You will find something you like to do that you can make money doing.
You’re going to find friends that aren’t going to fucking wreck you.
You’re not always going to live in the hell hole that you’ve known for so long.
It’s going to get better, but I’ll be honest, it doesn’t always stay better, but it gets better again. Bad times are just times that are bad. They don’t stay. Everything is fucking temporary.
Just fucking watch your favorite TV shows, tell ppl you love them when you do, and don’t play games with emotions because it ends up hurting like hell.
And eat dessert when you want it.
And know you ALWAYS deserve better.

Warning: do not use this product!
There is a new up and coming product called Trans Tape which is used to bind your chest with. This is the same as KT tape and is EXTREMELY dangerous. This product is not meant to bind, not meant to be used for long periods of time, and not meant to be used for multiple days. You can get rashes, infections, abrasions, open wounds, skin deformities, and much more. All of those consequences can also lead to you never being able to get top surgery. DO NOT USE.

Hi! Um... sorry if I come off weird, talking about this stuff always makes me feel... awkward. Anyway, um, I wanted to ask what an amab person wanting to now go mostly by female pronouns would be. I don't give people a hard time when they call me "he/him" since I understand it can be hard after so many years of calling me that. But I much prefer "she/her", so am I Non-Binary? Genderfluid? I'm really unsure. :/
pronouns don’t have anything to do with gender, it’s more a matter of what you’re comfortable with, so from the information you’ve given me, I have no idea. I’d suggest you check out some questioning resources about genders, probably particularly woman-aligned genders like demigirl, non-binary wiki is a good starting place
Edit: non-binary wiki has gone down, and the website that was linked here is not great, here is a subreddit of people trying to rebuild the wiki, here is a good flowchart from transgenderteensurvivalguideÂ
Is this inactive?
idk about the other mods, but I post when I can, I’ve been having some problems with mental health recently and we quite often get trolls, so that’s not good for me, I would say we have low activity, there are other genderfluidity blogs that are more active than us, so if we’re not posting enough, definitely check them out - Cerian
I just realised I was genderfluid about a month ago and I need help/advice for 3 things. 1. I've identified as lesbian/sapphic forever and I still feel comfy w it, is this okay?? 2. I usually ID as female and nonbinary, never male, is this okay/normal for a genderfluid person? 3. I bind w a sports bra because I am p small-chested on those days when I feel more like a masculine nb, but is there a way to make myself look more masculine?? Thanks in advance and sorry for the trouble!! :o
1. yup, this is fine,
2. yup, this is fine, genderfluid only means that you change gender, it doesn’t matter what genders you experience
3. you could bind with a binder for more compression, BUT MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE RISKS AND FOLLOW THE RULES SET FOR YOUR HEALTH. also certain clothing can help, in particular layering up and wearing plaid shirts hides any boob-shape very well
I thought “trans” was just mtf and ftm but “trans*” was also non-binary genders?
trans is an umbrella term for anyone who doesn’t identify with their assigned gender 100% of the time, so yes that includes non-binary genders.Â
a note: only use mtf and ftm for people that you know are comfortable with it. many binary trans people don’t want to use a term that includes their assigned gender at birth
What’s afab?
assigned female at birth

tips for easing dysphoria (masculine)
Someone sent in an ask about appearing more masculine. To my knowledge, we haven’t made an official post on this, so in the meantime I’ll give you my personal tips that I use to appear/seem more masculine (as I’m AFAB myself).
1. Bind, if you can. Use a binder, or a widely accepted alternative for binding (camisoles, sports bras, etc.), but DO NOT BIND USING ACE BANDAGES. You will hurt yourself, and it can crush your ribs and lungs.
2. Contour your face with makeup by your jawline and cheekbones, it makes your face look more masculine. Thicken your eyebrows too.
3. Work out, especially your upper body. Gaining muscle mass always looks good AND feels good, and I joined martial arts to do just that. Please keep in mind that it’s not recommended you bind while doing physical activities, no matter how bad the dysphoria may be!
4. Dress more masculine. Wear button-down shirts, use a packer if possible, and shop in the men’s section when you have the opportunity! I frequently wear male shoes, jeans, and baseball hats. Thrifting in this case is absolutely wonderful, and you can take your friends along with you!
Dysphoria sucks, I know. I promise, it will get better eventually. Keep fighting for who you are, and there’s always support here! Good luck <3

Chest binding is arguably one of the easiest, cheapest, and least permanently-body-affecting ways for assigned female at birth (AFAB), transgender, or gender nonconforming people to express their identities. The internet is awash with advice for purc
(AUTO POST)
To the last anon, I'm actually creating a genderfluid character for a story I'm doing too. One tip I'd is that people don't like being spoon feed who a character is, and as a genderfluid person myself I hate seeing a gender identity being a massive deal about a character (unless it's a key point to the story, like they are coming out to people or the story is about their struggles around their identity). Try to make it something casual, something that just is part of them. Just my advice
Thank you!! <3
I plan on creating a genderfluid character and I wanted to ask you for some tips. Like, is there any stereotypes I need to avoid, any common misconceptions or offensive stuff.
Common misconceptions are that we “fluctuate” between male and female genders, that’s not necessarily the case. Other than that I’m not massively aware of any conceptions at all people have about genderfluidity, we’re very very invisible in the public eye. Non-binary people get called “snowflakes” etc a lot, so don’t do that. It would be really really refreshing to have a character that people just accept as genderfluid without having any questions, because frankly I wish I didn’t have to explain myself every time I come out. Also pronouns, they might change, they might not change, the character might use multiple pronouns for example people call me she/her and they/them interchangeably regardless of my gender/presentation.
Stupid question here.
How do you know you are Gender-Fluid. I’m just trying to figure out where I fit in. This is me please tell me what you think.
1. I love femininity. I don’t care what’s between you legs. If you are feminine I’m attracted to you. 2. I wish I was feminine. I really don’t like looking so masculine. I wish it was ok for men to go out in feminine clothes or even were make up. I’ve been thinking about hormones. 3. I’m completely open to all people. I don’t care if you are transitioning, gay, lesbian, or sissy. I support you. 4. My friends a lot of the time point out that I act feminine personally wise. I do feel like I relate to both men and women.
My problem right now is that I feel like I don’t belong or fit in. Thank You
1.  that’s sexuality, not gender. also genitals should not come into ones attractions anyway, it’s transphobic and generally shitty because if you say you’re only attracted to x genital, you’re equating an entire person to their genitalia, and it’s transphobic because if you say you’re attracted to women with vaginas, you’re saying trans women aren’t women, which of course they are, and vice versa for trans men. more on that here.
2. wanting to be feminine does not necessarily mean you’re not a man. I know plenty of feminine men, and their femininity does not make them any less of a man. That being said, I think what you’re trying to say is that you want to present femininely at least some of the time AND THAT IS FINE GO AND DO THAT AND F*CK THE HATERS <3 in terms of hormones, I’d say really really research that and know all of the side effects, and what will happen to your body. talk to at least one trans-friendly medical professional and read up before you do that. but yah, I can’t tell you what your gender is, but basically present how you want to present
3. congrats on basic human decency. also please don’t say si**y, it’s a slur, and I’ve changed your original post to censor it.
4. I mean that’s your personality, so again not necessarily gender
I knew I was genderfluid because I felt that my gender changed. I’m not entirely sure how to explain what I feel, but for me personally, my gender is tied to the way I present, and so if I feel more masculine, I feel the need to present more masculine, if I feel more feminine, I feel the need to present more femininely. BUT THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY THE CASE FOR EVERYONE.Â
Followers: anyone want to contribute how you knew you were and are genderfluid?

Is it bad that I still want top surgery, even though I'm gender fluid cause I only identify as female like 10% (at most) of the time, and I personally feel it would be easier to make my chest look bigger then smaller???
nope, have whatever surgery you want, it’s your body, and I’m not gonna sit here and tell you you can’t do something because it doesn’t fit the rules, because there are no rules :) just make sure you read up on it and know all the risks before you get it done <3
I came out as genderfluid to a couple close friends lately and they asked me about my pronouns and I was wondering if it'd be alright to use just he/him or just they/them pronouns even though I also feel like a girl sometimes
You can use whatever pronouns you want friendo
