i know ryle is a abuser. But my heart still can't stop loving him. Collen really made us all feel lily to the bones. The fact that ryle was struggling with his mental issues to the point that he loses control of his thoughts and actions makes me sympathise with him. It's also because I have seen those people being helpless. Ryle was helpless. People struggling with mental issues are helpless, that's what made me fall for ryle more. I'm so sorry for lily, she definitely didn't deserve the hell ryle gave her, but my heart aches for ryle too.

Who gave collen hoover the right to fuck my emotions so badly to the point where i don't want to stop crying? She made me fall for ryle so fucking deep by showing the best parts of him and then suddenly unravelling his worst parts. She made me fall for ryle while simultaneously making me understand the reality of leaving someone your brain resents but heart loves. This author is a fucking genius
