Crying so hard from being so heartbroken while nursing a beer at my favorite bar. Door guy comes up to me and is like “hi sweetheart next round’s on us okay? Hope you feel better” and gives me a wooden token for a free drink. I’m never cashing that thing in, I’m going to hold onto it forever in remembrance of the kindness I was shown when I felt like the most wretched disgusting unloveable creature on the face of the planet

I CAN DO IT WITH A BROKEN HEART!! I can find an apartment. And meal prep. And go dancing with my friends, and make big beautiful cakes, and kiss strangers, and jump in the lake, and keep up with my cleaning schedule.

Nearly a year and a half of making my own yogurt and bread from the whey I strain from it and only just now realized that I can put the bread dough into a loaf pan instead of shaping it into a boule…the slicing, portioning, freezing, and eating is all so much easier. Wow. Listening and learning
