After watching the animation clip of Phainon’s confrontation with Nanook (“Nonook, I brought you destruction”), I started imagining Phainon as someone who completely spirals after snapping. In this modern AU, Phainon is the adopted son of Nanook, a wealthy and influential businessman. However, their relationship is far from healthy—Phainon harbors deep resentment after discovering that one of Nanook’s business dealings led to the death of his biological parents. This trauma turns him into a rebellious and destructive “problem child,” determined to ruin Nanook’s reputation. One of his methods is creating diss tracks and songs that portray Nanook as a neglectful, image-obsessed father who only adopted him for public relations.

Meanwhile, Reina is the daughter of a respected politician known for his clean public service record. She initially tries to follow in her father’s footsteps and maintain a similarly ideal image. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she comes across Phainon’s music. Despite her upbringing in a loving household, she finds herself oddly captivated by the intensity of his lyrics and the way he tears into his father figure. It becomes a guilty pleasure for her—something she enjoys in secret even though it clashes with her values and the image she’s expected to uphold.
