Inej who sleeps on the open side of the bed makes for easy escapes where she can slip away if need be, and never feel like she is being trapped.

Kaz and Inej with separate comforters that if they're feeling particularly bold they can double up and share because the cold creeps in everywhere in Ketterdam.

Inej who sleeps with her hair in a bun so it never touches Kaz even though her hair doesn't usually bother him.

Kaz who has a pair of lighter gloves he wears to sleep that are softer and more flexible so he doesn't have to touch anything.

Kaz and Inej eventually getting their own place with separate rooms.

Kaz's room which is used for sleeping together most of the time, but Inej can always excuse herself when she needs her space, and Kaz can always speak up when he needs his.

Kaz and Inej who have different pillows and switch those pillows when they love the idea of the other being near each other but can't physically manage it.
