thanks!!! im so glad that you resonated with it. yeah, im not really on this blog a lot anymore, i got wayyy too many bad-faith asks and questions asking me to do more work than im willing to put into a fandom blog (hello tumblr users. use google search! im unpaid and this is exhausting). i also live in the middle east now so ummmm that takes up a lot of time with all that going on. not lots of energy to spare for explaining why calling me a dog is racist! but! i do check back once in a while and messages like this make me so so sooo happy! the proliferation of chinese media in the west has repackaged racist rhetoric against us, both in ignoring our existence/culture/technology/"sophistication" and in consistently othering, dehumanising, and degrading us when we do appear. i really hope more people are able to speak out about their experiences as ethnic minorities in china and cultures from ca/na, and how they experience racism in its own context in the east! thank you for your kind words :)
