So, we call those green things ‘Ketupat.’ It’s a common tradition in Southeast Asia, like Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore, during Eid. It’s made from woven young coconut leaves stuffed with rice. It’s basically just rice, but more compact. It tastes plain, so you eat it with other dishes like opor ayam, rendang, sambal kentang, and more (≧∇≦)
