I’m an inspiring poet. I use this space to express a side of myself I have yet to share with others in my actual life. My poetry can touch on topics like mental illness, sexuality/love, family issues, societal issues, etc.

 My dream is to be able to publish my own books one day, but my goal is to find people who understand and relate to me and my art. I have only started writing poetry a year ago, so bear with me. Thank you for the support. 🐝♥️

Before that happens, I can see him training new firefighters, like how he trained Ravi and helped Harry prepare for the academy (and probably when he officially becomes a probie). But is there an official role within the house he could take on? I just think it would be a cool, in-character promotion for him.

I was small—small enough

couldn’t reach the stove

Laid in hunger of memories

I could only imagine living

Searching for flowers left behind

after I begged and begged to pick a bouquet

arranged as a summer day

Like a bonfire burning all night

Becoming lost in the morning fog

Missing after it wandered off

A child long gone—forgotten

Missing posters desperately torn

A storm moved in

When it was told to behave

Breaking windows, tearing pictures

Off the freshly painted walls

Asking questions about time

Wishing to reverse mistakes

portrayed as art, pleaded as love

Killing for a voice louder than thunder

One day, I could get better

Giving up after the flowers die

and the storm settles

Allowing the sun to come out

and find the child.

Falling back in love with the coast

Somewhere worth becoming a ghost

Haunting the lost where the sun falls

Saying goodbye to all the missed calls

Searching for something that’s already gone

Settling for the card that’s already drawn

Hearing the bark of a Great Pyrenees

Pleading guilty for all my responsibilities

Forgive what’s lost, forget what’s gone

Giving away my memories,

praying they’ll never die out.

Becoming a stranger's trinket

kept around their neck.

All I can do is write them down,

but I’m cursed by the rain

I always dream about.

Cursed by the sun,

I’m forced to live without.

Remembered by someone

I’ve never been around.

It was a silent exchange

with a soulful ending.

Saying goodbye

to my own self.

They’ll remember me;

now there’s no doubt,

but my name will always

We try to catch mice with our desperate claws. Until we forget, we are just as small.

Be quiet and be aware, because it’s dark today. Stay hidden and play dead, cause we are the prey.

I wish I could help, but he cannot be let out of the cage he was forced to grow up in. Because I know the only way He knows to handle this pain is by destroying the world.

A world that’s been less than kind, still a world that deserves better.
