HI IM LATE TO THE FANDOM

So! I just wanted share one of my favorite scense in the movie Spies in Disguise which was the post credit scene in which Walter and Lance have an epic ending runaway!

The reason why I like this scene was the incredible detail in Walter's suit: the custom made bowtie that held the antidote for Lance's pigeon situation!

To me, it really showed the character development for the two: Walter's new-found confidence in his skills and career and Lance's new-found trust on his partner.

What I like the most about this scene was the fact that the antidote was hidden in a bowtie, an important part of a formal wear to complete the look. To lose a significant part of the look is basically like cutting a wide area of trees in a forest (for a person who minds all the details), and what Walter did in the scene shows how much parts of him (let's say we represent the suit as himself) he is willing to lose for Lance. He's willing to lose a bowtie or two.

We've already seen how much Walter sacrificed for Lance in the movie (as well as how much the latter did for the other) but here it's being represented in a subtle way. Walter stepped out of his bubble because he wanted Lance to handle his jobs in a nicer way and although he had been bullied for it a couple of times, in the end, Lance ended up embracing this for good. We see that in the later parts of the movie where they started working together as a team (as Walter kept insisting about it). He is capable of protecting people, it's his job after all, but it's also the first time we see Lance get attached to someone and to commit to a partner in his job is a huge change to his lifestyle. It really shows how big of an impact Walter is to his life.

(ok so maybe i said too much)

That's it, basically. I mean, you can call it farfetched but I personally think it's sweet or idk 👉👈
