like 100% of all problems with arknights' kernel banner system would be solved if they just gave us a way to get kernel pulls on a consistent basis as a new thing entirely separate from normal banner currency. like give me annihilation for kernel tickets or something. it doesn't have to be big. it doesn't even have to be decent. it just has to not suck. it just has to Be There.

as it is now whenever a new operator gets moved to the kernel banner that's basically a guarantee you'll never see them again because you never have anything to spare for the kernel banner. like. im already saving my resources for the shiny new stuff. what reason do i have to waste those savings. i can't even get kernel characters from the shop because nothing gives kernel certificates besides pulling on the damn kernel banner, which, as established, i have no reason to do because it's basically wasting my pulls

im dreading the day we get the next kernel banner update because ebenholz is next on the chopping block and that's basically gonna doom my chances of getting him to max potential forever
