Hadestown where nothing changes but Persephone’s big coat boa thing that she has in some productions is used for symbolism…representing the walls she’s built around herself with alcohol and cynicism…..most of the time she has it wrapped around herself, especially with Hades….livin’ it up on tope, she’s flinging that shit around a bit and having a jolly old time, but she’s still clinging to it always….Chant, she’s got it on tight…. Even when complaining abt the heat, she just uses a fan, she’s not letting her guard down around Hades, oh hell nah. How long…. She drops it. The cloak is gone, suddenly she’s the girl who fell in love with Hades, bearing her heart to him, only to don it once more…… wait for me (reprise) she takes it off and presses it into his hands (“wait for me”) he pulls it to his chest (“I will”) ……she leaves in the green dress she’s always worn……hm…..

Genuinely don’t get the therian/alterhuman hate. I’m not really active in those spaces but like. What’s wrong with lowk bein a critter. I feel like everyone’s wanted to be a critter at least once, just some people actually do and i think that’s pretty epic. Shrug.
