Arborvitae Fern (Selaginella braunii) is a fern-like plant native to China. It is a relative of ferns and mosses, and this one has grown beautifully in a container all summer. It is ready to plant in my garden soon :)

Enjoyed this 6mi hike yesterday with my friend treetoplover in the Cherokee National Forest. Beautiful stream and waterfalls, and nice plant diversity.
