Hey all, I’ll try and keep it as brief as possible the last ad was a bit too wordy and turned out to be lengthy but anyway why who am I and what’s it all about. Well firstly thanks for reading this and for your time my name is Laurence and I’m was born in 1985 I’m 41 and from Bristol here in the UK. I specialize in computer designing and in the past algorithms.

I also make music I make Electronic genres like Electronic, Electronica, Synthwave and Vapourwave and then there is the rave stuff from House, Jungle/Drum & Bass, UK Funky House and a bit of UK Garage. I’ve been playing the keyboard and piano since I was seven and I’ve been making music around nine years old. I went to my first rave in 1989 when I was four and it was called Sunrise Back To The Future and one of or the biggest illegal raves in the good old days and it was on a field or just off the motorway or highway if you are American or autobahn if you are German.

The server which is called The Synthia 101 Server was inspired by lots of things. Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this new advanced and easily accessible tech gear to come out try forever and a day got to love Discord it meets my aesthetic and needs I’m hooked lol. It has a lot of stuff on there from videos from my two YouTube channels @GasNoLight and my second channel and artist name @GameForExperimentation, lots of music by me from both artist names I go under Gas No Light and Game For Experimentation, promotions channels one for Gas No Light and the other one for Game For Experimentation of my highlighted stuff I make including music and more.

There is also a photo gallery around photos of me and other stuff. There is a art gallery of all my photoshopping, GIFs and other stuff that is arty farty but all digital stuff. There is a Sims 4 gallery with free downloads as I make stuff for Sims 4 and also play a little but mostly make. There is a Command channel and I use the ? command followed by a short sentence with no spaces for example ?gnlhelp will get you all the related links and post well actually it will give you more options for example ?kaboom will give you a link to all my nuclear nightmares or dreams I keep getting or got and I had about 10 by now I wrote bits and pieces down and made several things with it including a interactive project, a eBook, a mix and two EPs for more details on commands please come and join my server and go to the>>>COMMAND CHANNEL<<<

I’m inspired by the Synthwave stuff all the 80s Synth-pop artists and bands like Depeche Mode, The Human League, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Soft Cell and New Order and on the American side Afrika Bambaataa R.I.P., Whodini and also Ahmed Fakroun. For the Electronic and Electronica stuff Krafwerk, Droid, Tangerine Dream, and Giorgio Moroder inspire me. And for the rave music well pick any well-known name from the British and American rave scene from the 1980s to 2020s all the DJs, labels, artists, singers and MC’s. But also 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s Hip Hop and R&B and my two favourite producers are the Neptunes and Timbaland and also 90s underground Hip Hop. I once met the late and great Aaliyah in 1997 when she came to my school and performed The One I Gave My Heart To and If Your Girl Only New (The New Remix.) It was my first well actually the second cos she’s on the Jodeci track Won’t Waste You but it was my second taster of legend Missy Elloitt my favourite since Won’t Waste You and while we are on that Notorious B.I.G., Lil’ Kim, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Ashanti, Boyz II Men, SWV, Jodeci, TLC, Mary J. Blige and Brandy are my upmost favourites but I have many lol.
