Life Lately.

I had an ultrasound the other day (the first one where Josh wasn't there) and they always ask "do you know what you're having?!" and I explain "no, we are waiting to find out". Well at the end of the ultrasound, they always put all the baby's stats on the screen in front of me and this was the first time that I actually wore my glasses to the appointment (usually Josh is my eyes). Anyway, the technician says the doctor will be in shortly and as I'm laying there I see on the screen in front of me Sex:female. I literally said out loud "oh my gosh it's a girl!" And then my joy turned to sadness because I just told them I didn't want to find out and Josh wasn't even here and omg it's a girl and I can't believe I'm finding out this way. And then...I realized it. That was MY info.

But you know what, it was still a great Christmas.  My house wasn’t flooded like much of St. Louis was, I woke up that morning with an awesome family and body that works and Cal was a dream during this entire fiasco.  Life is very very good.

I keep adding layers but my girth is the problem.

Next plan.  We went to the tree lot this am and got our live beauty.  Luckily we don’t live too far from the lot because the trunk kept popping open on the drive home which made for an exciting ride.  Tree number two is way better.
