After the initial shock - and fear - of both the sudden cold and weight of the water, and losing his crutch, he popped back out of the water with a loud gasp for air, eyes finding the two running off quickly, "uphf- FUCK YOU, HARRINGTON!! I HOPE YOU DIE IN A WHOLE, YOU STUPID FUCK!!" he bobbed in the carefully moving water, pulling his hands from under the water and wiping his face, coughing up a bit of water.
"oh, fuck.. FUCK!" he felt himself shaking as he soaked in the chill, teeth chattering faintly as he started moving to the near shore, swimming slowly as his joints ached and legs felt like they were gonna fall off, "fuck, fuck, fuckkkkk me..."
he coughed up some more water as he dragged himself onto the sand, groaning as it stuck to his wet hands, "jesus christ, that guy needs serious therapy.." he twisted around to sit on his ass and pull off his soaked sweater and shoes.
"Gary? what the hell happened!?" he turned his head around as he heard jimmy, eyes finding him standing on the edge of the dock nearby, "oh, shit, Hopkins..." he gulped, shivering harder than he has in awhile, "my- uh.. my crutch.. it's on the- the dock.." he felt himself breathing heavier and couldn't tell if it was from the weight of the water and the cold, or a panic attack building up.
"that fuckin- DERBY, THE FUCKIN BASTARD!!" he watched as jimmy hopped off the dock and was by his side faster than he thought he would be, "fucker got his richy rich panties in a twist, damn fag pushed me in.." he winced as jimmy helped him stand, offering up his own sweater; dry and warm.
Gary eyed it for a second before moving to tug off his wet shirt, stumbling as he pulled it over his head, "screw what i said earlier about being civil, i want his ass in the ground.." he grumbled, tugging the dry sweater over himself; it was a little shorter than what he usually wore, but it was baggy and very, very warm.
"Yeah, who wouldn't... are you okay? you're shaking.." Jimmy let Gary lean into his side, arm wrapping around his thin frame - okay, jimmy was officially pissed. who the fuck pushes a disabled guy into the ocean? for FUN?
Jimmy managed to get Gary back onto one of the benches of the dock before he went further down the wood structure to get Gary's crutch - and phone, which he luckily dropped before it went into the water - and hurried back.
he frowned at the sight of Gary shaking, teeth chattering and skin tinted red, lips a bit blue, "f- fuck.. i'm freezing.." Gary mumbled, standing and leaning onto his crutch, letting Jimmy lead him by the arm to his shitty old car - which may or may not be stolen, he's not entirely sure.
He had to stand on the sidewalk while Jimmy dug out a towel and a blanket from the trunk, the bigger - much drier- boy moving as fast as he could, "shit, sorry dude.." he moved back besides Gary, tugging open the passenger door and dropping the blanket on the seat before holding to towel up around Gary's lower half and immediately adverting his eyes, "take off your pants, you're gonna freeze..."
Gary smirked through his insane discomfort, trembling, "God, asking me to strip? in public? how romantic.." he teased, but still complied - he was freezing, and if he had to take off his soaked pants on the side of the road to get back some body heat, he obviously is going to.
Jimmy took the soaked pants when Gary had the towel tied around his waist, wringing them out as Gary moved to sit in the car, "maybe i should've stayed, man.." he grunted moving to toss the wet clothes in the trunk before moving towards the driver door, "i should have known Derby was gonna pull some bullshit, i'm sorry, Gary." he ducked into his seat, still shivering despite being wrapped up in a dry sweater and blanket.
"hahh..- 's fine, you didn' know.." he curled in on himself, shifting in the car seat and leaning on the center-console, "can we jus go home..? i think i've got hypo- uhh.. hypother- thermal...?" he trailed off, words mashing together.
"Hypothermia." Jimmy corrected, already starting the car with a slow nod, "yeah, 'm sure petey's worried.." he swallowed, glancing at gary out of the corner of his eye as he pulled onto the road to the academy.
Gary knocked out the second he was in dry clothes and in Jimmy's bed, but Jimmy ended up staying up the whole night, ranting in anger to Petey.
