How many pairs of jeans is too many?
No such thing for the denim-obsessed.
Even if you've found the perfect pair of jeans you want to wear every minute of every day, it's nice to have others hand on hand for different occasions (your fav distressed pair might not fly in a more professional setting) and different seasons.
That said, there's nothing more tragic than a pair of jeans that never get worn, sitting forlornly on a shelf in your closet. Unused jeans are just clutter that stress you out.
Somewhere between 3-6 pairs total feels about right, with only 2-3 in rotation at a time. During warm spring and summer months, you can get a ton of mileage out of a couple pairs of wearlight jeans, with at least one in a light wash.
For Fall and Winter, a couple selvedge pairs in medium-to-dark washes ought to do the trick. And of course, a pair in black for any and all occasions is a staple.
Sold out. All mine 😄

Gap x Telfar 2020 collab.
New 2020 collab: Gap x Telfar
Kinda wild Gap "remixed" their logo for the collab; think that woulda been a bridge too far for most brands just, but hey, sign of the times.

Spike Lee’s Gap ad in 1989.  I remember having this sweatshirt - it lasted forever.  Baggy, pleated pants were still the rage - if you weren’t tall or thin, it could be a fashion disaster.  The hat was a tribute to his jazz musician dad, Bill Lee.
Gap swag at itsf finest.
