The passage of time

All but an illusion

Such a good face The one you wear for the world The better you Yet I can see them The currents raging underneath The uncertainty you have About the world About yourself You strive so hard for perfection You miss the point Did no one tell you you must bend With the wind and changes You must flow with the tides Ever changing yet still the same Nature holds all your answers Be wild yet live in order

I should not love you It makes no sense To be so akin to someone so different So strange to care so deeply For such a dreadfully bad idea

And yet Does not a single coin Have two opposed heads Do not the crashing waves Love the rocky shore they slam into
