If Simeon is Anais's male counterpart, Lorelei is Noah's female counterpart. Lorelei is a meek catholic woman who wants to live a happy married life with the man she loves and will do anything it takes to maintain that life. Noah too is a deeply religious family man who ideally wants to marry and spend the rest of his life with Anais, and wants to lose his virginity with her after they are married. But the differences arise in that Lorelei actually gave Simeon her virginity, Noah by a technicality didn't give Anais his virginity. (not until he kidnapped her). Lorelei is willing to smile and pretend that nothing is wrong with her relationship with Simeon. Whenever they have sex and Simeon has an episode where he beats and strangles her in between, she doesn't stop him even if it hurts, telling herself that it's probably a kink he forgot to mention. And even if she hates it she is willing to play into it because she wants him to be happy and believes that since she loves him enough to do that, his love is reciprocated that way too and he would never do anything to intentionally hurt her. Lorelei and Noah are also characters that mirror people from their partner's sexual trauma. Lorelei has an uncanny resemblance to Anais which is a trigger to Simeon's intrusive thoughts. He loves her, he genuinely does but her existence is a testament to his paranoia that he is sexually attracted to his sister. He isn't, those are just intrusive thoughts he has stemming from the belief that Anais is an attention seeking whore who would fuck anyone, including him. But he lives with the constant fear that maybe he has those beliefs on her because he might be sexually attracted to her, and takes out that fear and anger on Lorelei when they have sex. Similarly Noah slowly becomes the priest that molested Anais. At first only wearing his garbs so he can pretend to be someone who worked at the church but then becoming no better than him when he kidnaps Anais to a secluded place where he can rape her with no one knowing, just like the priest did. And just like with the priest, everyone around her thinks that Anais got pregnant because she's just a whore who seduced and corrupted an innocent man. Back then it was a poor pious priest, and now its poor innocent Noah.

Additionally Lorelei and Noah mirror the carpenter siblings. To Simeon, Lorelei has the traits of Anais that he hates. And to Anais doesn't realize it yet, but Noah has all the traits that her brothers have that she hates. He has the warmth and manipulative tendencies of Levi, the paranoid sexuality of Simeon and the obsessive tendencies of Asher. (also joseph's sexual abuse but she doesn't know that)

Charlotte also exists as a foil to Noah. They're both catholic, want to get married and have large families, have glasses and a red/pink color scheme. They're both really cheerful and very idealistic about love. But where they differ is that Charlotte is very naive to the world she lives in because she's never faced abuse the way her friends have, while Noah's nativity is on purpose. He closes to be that way as a way to mentally protect himself from the traumas the world around him made him endure. Essentially Charlotte is what noah would have been had he not been abused the way he was
