We play as Mark Borja, a high school student living in the fictional city of Liamson in the Philippines, which, like the rest of the world, recently experienced "The Ruling" disasterβa series of inexplicable but devastating earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods. A year after the tragedy, the young man lives alone, as his parents, due to dire financial circumstances, have been forced to work abroad. From the very first moment, we understand that Mark is not the most responsible or respectable student. He is constantly late, does not do his homework, runs through the halls, and spends his free time playing games instead of studying. The graduation is approaching, and with it a growing sense of anxiety about the future. Mark doesn't know what he wants to be. He seems to be aimlessly drifting through life, investing in nothing. Even his attempts to learn the piano and get into a music club are going nowhere. But then he meets Nicole. He doesn't just meet herβhe stumbles upon her! This encounter doesn't simply shake him up; it awakens him from his adolescent nihilism and mental lethargy. Love pulls Mark out of his miserable, depressive existence. But it's not just love, it's also the desire to changeβto finally give himself a chance, to overcome loneliness, to believe in himself, and to stop clinging to the past. The only problem is that time and space themselves might prevent their relationship. But sometimes even proper goodbyes can be romantic and liberating. Extraordinary gaming experience.
