You ask what’s wrong with him? Here’s your answer: nothing! Just because he’s not walking around with a rippling 10 pack doesn’t mean he’s fat or unhealthy. If anything if you compare him to older pics sure he may have lost some ‘definition’ (although you could say he is just relaxed, slouched in these) he’s actually looking trimmer and seems to have lost ‘bulk’ (if you can even call it bulk). He’s coming back from months out due to various injuries and this is the first match he’s played since like June. He’s clearly struggled over the last season with health issues and who knows what he’s gone through mentally as well. Give the man a break. Actively tagging him in tweets and sending him abuse about his shape, how on earth do you think that is acceptable? Imagine if somebody was directing that at you. Your words have consequences and just because you’re hiding behind the safety of your screen doesn’t mean they don’t have an impact.
