My opinion on the Adamil realtionship lore , since i got into a tiktok fight like a month ago BECAUSE NOBODY reads the wiki, and likes romantisizing their clearly fucked up relationship (i dont care if its canon)

From what ive read and comprehended from Ada's backstory is that she was doing a research on hypnotherapy/looking for a subject ''willing" to be tested on , since her ways of hypnotherapy put the patients thru a lot of pain.. anyhow

She somehow ends up in the asylum that Emil was currently being treated in , she decides to try her little experiments on Emil since he was one of the "most obedient ones" in the asylum..

He surprisingly endures the pain, thankfully gets a bit better too until his health starts regressing again

She "helps" him escape ? Which im not even sure he wanted to do himself , since he is very mentally deranged and suffers from amnesia?

That brings me to another point - Ada treats him as her personal possession, much like a bag or a puppy...

Im so sick and tired of people saying that their relationship is sweet and not totally twisted and weird?

She has just made use of Emil as a test subject and the fact that he's an amnesiac , then she "falls in love" with him, because he responds well to her hypnotherapy.

Another thing that i want to quickly mention is the fact that Emil doesn't really know what love is, to him it's just being treated right, like a human being and not a dog (referring to his past)

Im not saying it can't work out , but it's just really twisted and not a 100% secure relationship, due to his DEPENDENCE on her and her POSSESSIVENESS

Can everybody stop calling it cute and sweet, its really not

The fact that her traits include being "extreme, possesive and stubborn" only prove that the only interest she had in him was testing and just because he ended up enduring it she took him with her, to "escape"

Had he not remained quiet and obedient, their story wouldn't have even happened..

The point of this whole yapsession is to let everybody know how they're not your average cute , non-tragic couple, but actually quite the opposite.

I enjoy their lore a lot, can't wait to find out more in the next part of the recent animated and interractable lore events!!!
