ID. a looping gif drawn to look like an ink illustration of a foal prancing in circles around its grazing mother. End ID.
Joy and whimsy detected! This post is joyful and whimsical!
i understand (on paper) why companies are anti-piracy but its funny when random individuals are also strongly anti-piracy. like how does it negatively affect your life if someone you know downloads a cracked torrent of sims 4. you dont work for EA. EA isnt gonna pay you for this. you lose nothing. its fine. chill out.
Honestly for a while (and still a bit now tbh) I was very strongly against piracy, but I think a big reason why was because it's illegal. Again until like 2020 I kinda couldn't help but think for a lot of things "It's illegal and the law isn't hurting anyone so breaking it is bad." It was less of me being "leave the multi-million business alone" and more "hey these laws aren't harmful to you so you shouldn't break them" but as I got more conscious of and companies got more blatant in their disregard of; quality, fair prices, ethical practices in making the games, and a host of other things, I realized that it's the companies that do harm to everyone underneath them and so since piracy can harm the company in return it's more morally acceptable in me eyes
Honestly, that explains my feelings as well. I still donβt actively pirate things (unless looking for things other people have uploaded to YouTube or accepting uploaded scans from trusted friends counts, which I suppose it does), but I really donβt care if others do.
Especially if thereβs no other way to access the material.

ACGGOODS Online store - FFXIV wooden charms
just witnessed something devastating
guy on the subway with one ear pierced, little gold hoop. other guy on the subway very quickly and subtly googling "which one is the gay ear". it is not the gay ear. visible disappointment on his face as he puts his phone away.
Strange haunted photo where Winifred looks like she's a painting
I have placed her in a more fitting setting
For the first time in my tenure on tumblr, it's "THAT'S A PHOTOGRAPH?" and not "THAT'S AN OIL PAINTING?"

Lucina commission for Jay, thank you~!
so the synopsis of The Ring is: you will die 7 days after watching this videotape. my question is does that apply to rewatching the tape. let's say I watch the tape, wait 6 days, and watch it again. does the timer reset to 7 days? can I do this indefinitely? can I become functionally immortal by watching the evil videotape on a weekly basis?
I require the film where someone decides this means they are functionally immortal for 6 days after watching the tape so seeks it out before going on a series of utterly batshit suicide missions. The tape keeps trying to do creepy crap around them and they're just like "I have 3 days 12 hours left to do this prison break so you're not even on my top 10 concerns, either distract this guard for me or go do something about that hair while you're waiting"
The ghost is so baffled and has no idea how to explain that's not how any of this works that it does save them a couple times while trying to get this across, thus convincing them the theory has been validated
