A leather arm guard for archery that I finished last month. It's made from full grain, veg tanned saddle skirting, sourced from Tandy. D-rings and chicago screws are solid brass. Comes with full grain, veg tanned, 7-8 oz straps sized to order. This particular arm guard will use brass button studs on the straps instead of buckles, so putting it on and taking it off will be a cinch.

I drew this as a tribute to AK earlier this year. I aimed to draw Mega Man as if AK had drawn him wearing his blue armor. I also drew the rest of the characters in a style reminiscent of Ishinomori. It is, in effect, a remake of the original Japanese box art for Mega Man 1.

I recently finished making these Aspen arrows. I call them Blood Rose Snap Dragons.

I named them Blood Rose Snapdragons because:

1. Blood for the paint job, using red oil-based wood stain;

2. Rose, for being inspired by the saddled-profile arrows recovered from the Mary Rose

3. Snap, for the action of the nocks to snap on to the string and stay on at full draw, even allowing for 4-below finger draw. I carved these meticulously into the shafts;
