Hi everyone! (this hiatus is starting NOW btw)
Corona has made me realize a lot of things. It’s made me realize I really want to legally change my name, I want to start exercising more, etc. One of the big things it has made me realize is that I have new hobbies and new goals I want to accomplish. Said new hobbies are hosting a podcast and playing DnD. As for a new goal, I want to study for and pass for the JLPT N3 as well as my PRAXIS tests (test for becoming a teacher in America).
Between these new hobbies, new goals, the fact I will be going back to school full time, and working again, I’ve come to realize running three rp blogs at the same time just isn’t doable for me. (my blogs = obihope, galaxy ought & nighttfight)
After much deliberation, I’ve decided to put galaxyfought and obihope on hiatus until November 25, 2020. I’ll be active on all these blogs again November 25, 2020 - January 18, 2020. Then I’ll put them on hiatus again. I’ll then be active on them again Mid may through late August of 2021.
To reiterate: This is my senior year of college and honestly it just isn’t doable for me to run all these blogs doing the school year, hence I’m only going to be active ALL three of them during school vacations.
I, however, will be active on nighttfight all year round!
If there are muses you want to interact with or if you just want to add me on discord feel free to do so! I RP on discord all year round but my responses are typically slow.
“A little mischievous would definitely be an understatment,” Ahsoka chuckles, “but R2 has proven to be a reliable ally and good friend time and time again. I don’t think any of us could part with him now.” At his comment about Master Kenobi, she chuckles yet again. “He can be uptight sometimes. But ultimately he’s a chaotic good. Who do you think taught Anakin all of his out of the box plans? Master Kenobi is good at acting mature and serious when necessary. But the more time you spend with him and the closer you get to him, you realize he isn’t as serious as he seems.”
“He just does a little bit of tinkering. Since he’s a commander, he feels like it’s his duty to know a little bit of everything in case we lose someone. It’s morbid to think about. But it is a good point. It would be horrible if we lost our mechanic and then lost everyone because no one else knew how to fix the ship. I do a little tinkering too. Although like Rex I’m used to the older ships. Maybe you could teach both of us!”
“Breaks,” she replies, sipping her tea “Yeah. That would be nice. And like real, week long breaks. All of us could go to a planet with a lot of beaches and go swimming and have cook outs. Sadly I don’t think we’ll get that long of a break any time soon. Although I suppose dreaming doesn’t hurt anybody.”
At his latter comment, she can’t help but comment. “You know, this advice seems kinda ironic to be coming from you. You’re one of the hardest working people I know. I think the only person that might work longer hours than you is Cody.”
“Maul,” she replies, brows furrowing slightly as she studies him. There’s a chance he’s changed but she doubts it. He always has an agenda. And he’s willing to do whatever is necessary - to hurt whoever is necessary to achieve them. HE isn’t trustworthy. In fact, the only things reliable about him are his fighting skills and his desire to achieve his personal goals. “We train hard and recover fast. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you honestly work with others. I doubt the purpose of this visit is just for a friendly chat. What do you want?”

Obi Wan’s latter comment about Anakin and Ahsoka brings a bright smile to her face. “As much as I’d love to seem them again, lets hope there will be no need to contact them for assistance. I am determined to resolve this issue peacefully if possible. I know one less conflict doesn’t seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things, but it would feel like a big difference to me.”
Packing a few things into her nearby bag, she slings it over her shoulder. “I believe some men are in the hangar repairing ships. It might be easiest to go straight there. We can recruit some help and get transport all in one go.”
Rex can’t help but laugh at his comment. “You’d think so but R2 seems to defy all logic. Centuries worth of data and still as fast and as clever as when I first met him. Then again, I suppose it makes sense. One of the greatest Jedi I’ve ever known performed maintenance on him. And when we lost that Jedi, Ahsoka took over taking care of him. If Ahsoka didn’t have a connection to the force, I’m pretty sure she’d be a droid mechanic. She has a real knack for it. And you’re right. The last time I as so much suggested a partial wipe. Emphasis on the partial, I suggested he should get rid of the old Republic data. His response was to push me out the air lock. Luckily I had my helmet on. And luckily Ahsoka was nearby so she could pull me back.”
Cody: if everyone could stop obsessively trying to kill and/or seduce my boss for like a week that would just be a whole vacation

Accepting the help up with a gracious nod, he gives himself a glance over before answering Obi Wan. “You’re a horrible liar. You know that, right? And I’m fine. Just caught me by surprise and made me feel like a frisbee. Or ball. Or any throwable object. Must be nice to be able to use the force to give yourself a boost.”

“You’re right, that’s a horrible idea,” Rex grumbles, although he’s not entirely surprised. Anakin have to get his recklessness from somewhere, after all. “But I don’t have any other ideas so I guess we’re going with it. Just try not to get caught. Rescuing Anakin kinda defeats the purpose of this mission if we have to turn around to rescue you just a couple of minutes later.”
I’ve had low muse and I’m not one to force myself to write through writer’s block so consider this blog on a mini hiatus until this thursday!
Aunt Ahsoka!
“Well, at least you admit it,” Cody chuckles at Obi Wan’s remark about liking the feeling of being right. Cody does his best to be a real trooper throughout it all. He doesn’t hiss or emit a soft cry of “oww.” He doesn’t flinch. However, as Obi Wan finds a rather sore part, he does wince. An action, he hopes, that with the Jedi behind him, goes unnoticed.
“I’m not making fun of you,” he assures him, “if anything, I find it admirable. I just think you ought to be realistic. And careful. You may be a jedi but even you can’t save everyone.”
“They do deserve that,” Ahsoka agrees. Hoping to lighten the mood a bit, she gives his arm a playful bump. “And so do you. But it will be hard to give them a second chance unless we get going. Last one to the hangar has to pilot the ship.” She doesn’t dislike piloting. If anything, she likes it and is good at it. However, friendly competition never hurts.
Taking a few strides ahead, she looks over her shoulder at him. “I had a feeling you’d say yes so I have a ship packed already. So come on! Race me!”

He has no official reason to linger. He’s talked to Obi Wan about official matters. He’s helped the Jedi get a snack. His presence is no longer needed. But Obi Wan doesn’t seem to want him to go. Or maybe he’s just self projecting because he doesn’t want to leave. “Good. If only it was this easy talking some sense into that former padawan of yours. According to Rex he’s been a bit more troublesome than normal. Rex thinks one of these days Anakin is going to give him gray hair. I told him he already has a few gray hairs which he didn’t appreciate.”
