So, the 5th month of this blog has come and gone..
I dunno whether Sims 2 is just more popular than Sims 3 on Tumblr, or is the Sims 2 community more cohesive..or was my Sims 2 remake of Sedona just so interesting, but for whatever reason, now that I had to give up on Sims 2 and continue on with Sims 3, there is deffo less likeage going on. I personally think my Sims 3 stuff is equally freaky-deaky trippy..especially with the crazy custom worlds my story is playing out in, but maybe there is less audience for that among Sims 3 players? I kinda see how we ended up with Sims 4.
Anyhow, no Sims 3 post of mine has ever even remotely approached the notes of many of my Sims 2 posts, Â (my most popular one was the reblog previous) but I Â still persevere in doing this becauseÂ
1. I enjoy my game, worlds, characters and story
2. I DO have some very nice followers who have expressed to me how much they like what I am currently doing.
3. Unfixable bugs killed my motivation to continue with Sims 2.
4. Who else will possibly appreciate Sims stuff but other sims players and here is where most are now.
Iâm thinking on how it felt to be a very new simblr (iâm still kinda new), lucky to even get a single note. Never did a Simblr train..i think followers should be truly diggingâ what you do.
Iâve been very happy to have others say nice things from time to time about my far less popular Sims 3 stuff, and been wondering what to do to pay that forward.
My solution is this: starting today i will from time to time highlight NEW blogs who seem to fit under the really low limbo-bar of having even fewer average likes than this blog, yet have content I think is cool and deserving of attention.
I will highlight what I like about their blog and do them one at a time so that each gets the full focus of attention.
There are many blogs i like..this is ONLY about the newbie Simblrs, as ascertained by checking their archive history. My preferences are for interesting stories, quirky main characters, sense of humor, creative screenies, colorful environments.Â
Iâm pretty much a nobody, so no one should expect any kinda boost to their readership from me, its just my way of doing something nice for other new simblrs, since from time to time, nice stuff is said or reblogged about my stuff.
Iâll do first blog later this evening.
