In July 2020 I am running the first of my monthly giveaway draws as a way of thanking you who have watched, commented, and subscribed since I started this YouTube hobby and also 'pay forward' the free keys that a number of developers and publishers have trusted me with so that I can create content on my YouTube the channel.

Humble Store

Hi! It’s been a while hasn’t it? :(

Sadly I’m not here to announce my return to Tumblr but just to let anyone who was following me know that I have started a new Blog, yay!!

It’s linked to, and will mostly be about the content I upload to YouTube but I also want to use it to share and write about other things I do in my life that very few of my YouTube subscribers would care about (and what might frighten some of them away!!)

It’s always a bitter-sweet moment when you realise that you’re leaving a place you’ve been for many years but today is the day that I bid you all adieu. ;( Though, to be fair, Tumblr was only ever intended to be a repository for odds and ends that I couldn’t keep elsewhere - all those photos of my Sims builds for example. Later, when I started getting into the whole Youtube thing I thought it might be a nice place to share my video content. But, as it turns out, although I have a nice little group of followers and my posts get liked and occasionally shared, Tumblr does not appear to contributing to channel views or subscribers. I should, of course, admit that this is partly my own fault as I have never used Tumblr as a social space, as a way of actually communicating with friends, followers or subscribers.

While I am now concentrating on Youtube as my creative outlet, other social platforms such as Twitter and Instagram, and even Discord are where I can most effectively communicate with those friends, followers and subscribers.

If you are also a subscriber to my Youtube channel you may already have noticed that I have not posted news of my last few uploads, and this is my ‘official’ acknowledgement of this change. I may still use Tumblr to host the occasional image, video or other content that I can’t upload anywhere else but my visits here will now be even more infrequent. So, it only remains for me to say thank you to everyone who liked, shared or communicated with me through Tumblr and I hope I will see you on one, or more, of my other channels; Youtube, Twitter, or Instagram. In 1900 Oljeto-Monument Valley was just another small town of less than 1000 souls, and then the railways came. Just over 100 years later this city is the Hub of the entire region with a resident population of over 4,700. This episode looks back to review how the city changed in the 118 years since the bulldozers started making way for the first train station. With dramatic flyovers, time-lapse photography and even a couple of charts you can watch the history of our One Hub in the making.

Having recklessly purchased some extra real estate, I really ought to do something with it! So, let's build yet another gate and add in novel departure and arrival routes, of course.

Can you make any sense of this plan?

A (relatively) short insight into what's happened on the channel over the last month and what I expect to be doing in the coming month.

News on the current series of Transport Fever, SimAirport, Another Brick in the Mall and Tech Corp. as well as new title Interstellar Transport Company and looking forward to Transport Fever 2.

Customers are flooding in and my little shopping centre is raking it in! But then, amid all the flag waving success, I discover what might be a major problem ... lost profits!

Interstellar Transport Company has been available for about two years now, including Early Access, and received mixed reviews but the developers have announced that a major update will be released later this year. So perhaps now is a good time to take a look at it so we can see how good the new release is when it arrives. In this first episode I dip a cautious toe in the heady world of celestial trade in the hope of making some modest profits and, basically, not going bankrupt within the first few months!

Fed and Watered that's how to keep passengers happy so an exciting new mini food court is being created on the upper deck. Well, if I can get the staff to turn up! 

Our twined towns of Rabbit and Mystery Valley are suffering from congestion and inadequate bus services. Will a new metro line sort it out? Checking in on the Big Indian Commuter Loop have we finally found a good line for those Taiwanese train sets?

It's the end of the line for one of my outlets but the latest stores are proving VERY popular, in fact they're so popular I can barely believe how much money we are now making!

Our factory is pumping out components (and profits!), but our outsourced products are out of favour so let's try our hand at GAMES! We buy into a little games studio and give them a couple of most excellent game designs. Will we make any money off the back of their hard work?

The lovely people at DDGames sent me a key to their brand new game "WizardCraft Colonies", a 2D Base Builder in a magic realm. So, let's take a look at it...

My drivers have forgiven me for the almighty screw-up of the last episode where I supplied entirely the wrong truck for picking up stone from the dockside and my new river-borne construction materials line is now actually carrying cargo!

We also revisit a few old/unprofitable lines to, hopefully, get them on the road (or rail!) to profit.

This is likely to be the last episode in this series but if you have a bright idea for a final flourish to wrap it up, or want to know more about what has happened to certain towns or lines, just drop a comment and I'll make one last visit to Square England.

Build it and they will come! Hopefully quicker and in good time for their flights! We get an on-site LRT train station, even more shopping and some lounging space for our flight crews. 

I'll not be doing a series for this game so thought I'd try my hand at a review, of sorts. If you want to know a little bit more about the game and "is it worth it?" Maybe I can help you decide. Note: I received this game for free from the developer but they have asked for or influenced this review.
