so like. i was going to be more active this month, but uh. a bit of a family emergency happened and it's only recently calmed down / gotten a bit better.

so on one hand, i missed all the june muse bdays, as well as sharing about my own birthday this month. on the other hand?? maybe i'll be able to go all in on the last few muse bdays for this month and maybe some of next month's too.

“Well maybe it wouldn’t hurt if someone,” Winry tightened a screw as she spoke with a smile on her face. “didn’t act so reckless and run headfirst into battle.”

Was Winry irritated at her friend’s actions? Always. Was she used to it by now? Most definitely; but that didn’t stop the worry she held when he dove into action without a plan. This time he was lucky enough to escape with just some damage to his automail arm- something you wouldn’t catch Winry admitting twice. Really, she was just happy he and Alphonse made it home in, relatively, one piece. She just wish it wasn’t injured.

With a soft smile on his face, Erik gingerly set Romelle’s now wrapped ankle down. A sprain that was fairly easy to get managed to cause such pain on one that didn’t deserve it- at least in Erik’s point of view. Romelle had been good to him and his brothers, except for maybe Sam, ever since meeting them. Erik had been nearby when it happened, and he insisted on helping wrap it. It just wouldn’t do, letting her walk on it without proper support.

Erik let out a hum. “It’s no problem at all, princess. Anytime you need me... I’ll be there.”

“I was thinking I’d take a page out of YOUR book and leap before I think.”

His tease was light, an affectionate way of trying to lift the mood- HER mood. Enma worried too much about him, was always willing to throw herself into danger more than let him take the hit if needed. Sure, he wasn’t as physically durable as she was, but that didn’t mean he was glass. He could tank a few hits before going down, and he was able to stall until she arrived to save the day.

After a few moments of her silently wrapping his wrist, Nick’s eyes shifted to look at her. “You’re doing it again- thinking too much. Just spit it out.”

“You shouldn’t have to be, y’know.” William’s voice was soft- something not unfamiliar to Akemi, but maybe to those who weren’t used to seeing the softer side to him. Then again, most weren’t jumping at the opportunity to actually get to know William. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why he felt a bit of a kindred spirit when he’d first met Akemi. Something others might not immediately get or relate to- but she would.

“...I’m here if you ever need to talk. Or just to complain.” And with that, he lightly patted the now wrapped injury. A good attempt to make things feel less awkward- something he was good at accidentally doing.

i just wanted to put it out there, but i'm seriously considering if i want to either remake or just go on a full-on hiatus. don't know if much will come from this because it's probably a sickness-fueled train of thought, as well as just feeling really emotionally shitty for the last few weeks. all options are definitely on the table right now. feel like shit and i haven't been here much lately anyway.

going to give it time before i make any decisions, but for now, that's what i'm probably going to consider.

basically an au where she dies during the war in the golden deer route + wakes up half buried in the snow on drum island, found by kureha and chopper two years before the stra.w hats land on the island, realizes she's seven years younger than when she died (y'know, isekai bs) and has a scar from the injury that killed her

Milla had gone for a walk to stretch her legs. She’d been up late finishing writing up a report for Sasha and the Psychonauts to update them on how things were going with the team. As well on how things had been going lately. While she was still a well-known agent, she was more than willing to work with this team. They were young and gaining experience- Milla just felt like she could be a guiding hand for them.

She wasn’t too surprised to find someone in the kitchen late at night. With the different schedules everyone in the team had, there was typically always someone going in and out of the kitchen. For a midnight snack or otherwise. Milla had spotted them a few times- and this time, it was Casey she found. He was looking like he was rummaging around for something.

“It’s late, darling. What’s on your mind?”

"If you want to take a look, knock yourself out." there was a tone of humor to his voice and a smile on his face. he held his wrist out to bloom and chuckled. "it's just a sprain, I got worse all the time when i ran around with luffy and sabo as kids. uta either got hurt with us, or she'd be the one scolding us until makino would patch us up."

"Terrible.” Law was definitely overselling it, but he wasn't wrong. “But it could have been a lot worse."

Zoey had been lucky enough to only have been bruised and scratched up, but thankfully both not only could be covered by wearing pants or longer sleeves, but would also heal fairly quickly. If she wanted to heal even quicker though, she could probably talk to Zelda so she could use healing magic. They were lucky that the team had so many members with different areas of expertise, it made post mission checkups go a lot smoother- especially in cases like Luffy and Nimona.

Law finished bandaging the worst scratch- the one on her forearm that had actually broken skin, and clicked his tongue. “As long as you don’t go running into danger anytime soon, these should heal up within the next week. Surely you can do that, at the very least.”
