There's a special function for research in there—if you authorize me to look at your pokémon data, I'll get updated info every time you call your pokémon back into their balls. Pretty neat, right? You don't even have to lift a finger."

It took him a few moments longer to notice he had a companion, a small girl with a large Grimmsnarl. "Hello, can I help you?"

Was it rude to mention that? She's basically admitting she's been watching the scene. She adjusts her umbrella shielding her from the sun, and points at the Impidimp. "One of them, perhaps? They're real tricksters."

"I'm following up on some of Gran's old research on Dynamaxing. And since you're the only Gym Leader who doesn't use it, and your gym doesn't have a power spot, your pokémon make for a perfect control group! So, basically, I just need you to collect some data for me."
