creepypasta for example where the source material is often so mystifyingly dogshit that its a wonder they got popular in the first place and people like clanking together the characters like dolls and treating them like ocs with their own designs. SCP foundation fandom thats entirely community-built. when people in the dream smp fandom started making really dramatic and cinematic animations of what was at the time an extremely unserious improv roleplay. people making entire fleshed out character fanon based off of 1-off gags in buzzfeed unsolved. etc. very good
