His vision (and his face) seemed to explode into painfully bright lights, and he found himself letting out a grunt of pain as his back collided hard with the wall behind him. Trunks felt it shatter from impact, jagged pieces pressing hard against his spine. “Fuck…”
He shifted to push himself into a crouched position as one arm came up to rub at his eyes. Fuck, fuck. A flashbang from point-blank range– yeah, that was really going to leave a fucking mark…
It was going to take him more than a few minutes to collect himself again, giving the strange robocop plenty of time to head inside for Bulma. However, Trunks was hardly the only line of defense she had and, in all honesty, he was hardly the best. Keki wouldn’t be able to get far before a hand would clamp down on her shoulder, ripping her back and tossing her effortlessly back into the hall that she had left Trunks in.
Round one had been Trunks, and she had won that one. Round two, though? Vegeta.
..Huh? What had just happened?
One second she was  running through the halls, trying to locate the criminal as fast as possible, and the next she had been sent flying back into the room she was just in - if not more so as she had been tossed through the wall, landing back outside.
For a few seconds she simply laid there, brain working around what happened before brows furrowed and she stood back up - twisting her limbs to make sure they all still operated properly. Then a hum, and a buzz, and her eyes focused forward as to the suspect in her sudden tossing.
And it was only bad news. She knew she couldn’t win this fight, and she doubted that the man would listen to her - considering the only other person she talked to refused to listen as well.
(Though, the answer is always no unless you ask...)
“Please stand aside, sir, this is Galactic Patrol business.”
If things went horribly enough, a tactical retreat would have to happen, and she would have to come back at some point when the prince would not be home.
