a reckless serenade

I doubt there is anyone on here who knows me anymore. But if there is, covid has absolutely kicked my arse. I was young and healthy before getting the virus at work. I struggled to breath for weeks, slept all day for more weeks, could barely walk to the bathroom. Hospilized and on oxygen twice. 9 weeks later I’m better than I’ve been but run out of breath eating or going to the supermarket. Take care of yourself and take it seriously.

Just been checking my nipples to see if they’re female-presenting. I had to squint a little and squeeze in a way our tumblr overlords may not appreciate, but ultimately came to the conclusion that I’m going to miss you guys more than I can really explain to those who wouldn’t get it. When I made this blog, I was in pieces, really quite broken and you were, collectively and individually, without asking for a thing in return, saviours. I know I was, like many of you, a tiny saviour for others. And for all the porn and beauty and advice and, well porn, what I will miss most is this: the opportunity to be kind to people for no reason other than to be kind to people. 

We were meant to go to a Halloween party, but the “Let’s just pop in the pub for a quick un” turned into everyone getting absolutely arseholed.
