laugh with something a little less enthusiastic. After a minor pause — to mentally clear his significantly more busy schedule — he continued.
"I was thinking that tomorrow would be nice. Noonish? Noon seems like a nice time for things like this.”
The Ice Queen didn't take more than two seconds before quickly nodding her head. That smile of hers remained glued to her face.
"Excellent. That all sounds just perfect to me."
It seemed like she was about ready to turn and leave, she had what she wanted so there was no point in her bothering the candy monarch any further. Well, she was about to leave- Looking over her shoulder she gave a wink in his direction.
"I promise we'll have a splendid time together~"

{closed RP} Fionna vs the Ice Queen, take 23, action!
Fionna is too stubborn to show fear, even when she knows she needs to get out, before it’s too late for her. She makes sure the prince is safely on his way down the mountainside before turning back to the ice queen. Getting to the bottom of the mountain will deposit the prince in a more temperate area where he’ll hopefully thaw and be on his way back to his kingdom. Fionna’s job now is to keep Ice Queen focused on her, so she doesn’t try to follow and take him again. The fact that the magic-user seems to be talking to her crown weirds her out for a brief moment, but then she chalks it up to the monarch’s usual insanity and shakes her head. The threat is hardly lost on her, but she only scoffs, bravado in full effect. "You wanna try and keep me here?" The sword in her hand lengthens slightly, ribbons sprouting from the rounded pommel. She twirls the sword in challenge, setting both hands on the hilt as the blade finishes extending. Bringing it up in a guard position, she starts slinking around toward a window if nothing else, she can make a quick escape via some of the ice platforms that way. Giving the sword a quick slash, she beckons with some of the fingers on the hilt, bending her knees and preparing to spring to either attack or defent. "Come with it then!"
The queen snarled, the frustration bubbling up inside of her. The little runt never listened to anyone but herself, shrugging off the voices of others near her. Today, there was no escape for Fionna - Ice Queen was going to make sure of it. What the adventuress had done was out of line, and there was nothing she could do to change the wicked witch's mind.
Without feeling an once of hesitation, she quickly approached the blonde girl. Stopping at a short distance of maybe two feet away, practically towering over Fionna. She didn't touch Fionna...She just stood there. Staring her down with heavy eyes that were full of so much anger, there should have been some sirens going off, because Ice Queen wasn't playing around this time. The sword that was pointed at herself was nothing but a toothpick, honestly Fionna needed a new weapon, she thought to herself.
"Listen closely to me, tomboy. You have no idea what you could have done and I will make sure of it that you learn your lesson. This tiara of mine might just be a stupid head piece to you, but to me this holds my breath...My life. The magic it posses is strong and dark, and if it falls into the hands of say...A child like you, then Glob knows what chaos might be unleashed. So let me try and get this through your head. My tiara stays on MY head at all times. If you dare to try and get your chubby, sticks hands on it, I will cut them clean off. Besides, you wouldn't want to be responsible for causing Aaa complete and utter destruction, right?" She gave a bat of her eyelashes, straightening herself up. Ice Queen turned away from the heroine, still looking at her from the corner of her eye. A cooler breeze rolled off of her skin as she took a seat in her throne.
"Go ahead and try to leave, it simply will not work. The mountain is too slick and steep. If you fall you'll have many shards of ice pierce you once you hit the bottom. Mmmm, I like the sound of a Swiss cheese Fionna~..... I let the prince go, so you should honor that by staying here with me."

The princess nodded to her mother's advice. Was she too nice and caring? She had seen it in the candy kingdom before, people who were too nice got taken advantage of, but she didn't want to be mean and cruel either. "But, Mother-" she stops herself from conflicting with the Ice Queen. "Yes, Mother." She sighs, but she didn't want to anger or upset her mother.
"Don’t give me any ‘buts’, you know that I am always right." She grinned, giving the princess’ shoulder a hard rub. "Next time you’re told to be so loving, I want for you to kill whoever said such nonsense."

"I know, Mother," she sighed, looking down to the icy floor beneath the two of them. "But Father says it is better, to be softer towards the Candy People and people of other kingdoms. Is he wrong, Mother?"
"Of course he’s wrong! Pfft! Who do you think wears the pants in this relationship? Exactly. Moi~" She said pointing to herself. Bringing a hand underneath the princess’ chin. "Look at me. A woman needs to be strong, cold, and cruel in life to get what she wants. Not sweet and soft like a weak candy person. Believe me, you’ll never get what you want if you act that way."
"Yes mother! I won't forget mother!" she said, slightly growing afraid. She had grown used to the caring of the Candy Kingdom and forgot how bitter her mother could be. "I-um- sorry. Heh."
"Yeah, yeah I heard you the first time. How old do you think I am? - Don't answer that." The queen leaned down slightly to get to eye level with Slushy. "Did I just hear you stutter? Ugh, you're such a softy-"
