Gumball’s cheeks reddened with embarrassment and anger. He looked over Marshall, taking in his expression and body language. “Are you here to embarrass me even further? Do you even realize how mortified I was, when you went off into the garden?
People were gawking at me. Whispering things about me. And you left. You actually had the nerve…” Reluctantly, he rose to his feet and placed his head in his hands. “Why are you here?”
And here came that scolding. Had Marshall really expected to be let off the hook? Well, frankly, yes, he had- - the vampire dealt with emotions in a certain way read: not at a l l and he often expected everyone else to do the same. Obviously, this was not the case with the pink prince, and under Gumball's stare Marshall, frankly, only seemed to try and act more indifferent about the matter, which certainly could not help his case. Arms folded stiffly and the half-demon bowed his head, gaze darting from Bubba to the floor and back again. Truly just a disobedient child, by the way he was acting. And of course simply apologizing was too much for the vampire to bear, so he had to open his big mouth, fingers toying with the cuffs of his sleeves. "Y eesh, Peege, lighten up! that was funny! who gives a r i p what those stuck-up pricks have to say? everyone's probably forgotten it except you!" Oh, but if that took audacity. "I'm here to check on you and junk. thought maybe some smooching could help you lighten up."
{Closed rp w/ Prince Gumball} Breaking into the Candy Kingdom
There was an unknown force lurking around the Candy Kingdom. No one was really able to put their finger on what it was, but it surely was unwelcome. It was the middle of summer, yet there was a unexplainable chill in the air. It was something that bothered the Kingdom's citizens, many of them felt worried that it was a strange weather pattern of sorts. This sudden worry quickly passed as the chill had seemed to disappear, and why worry over a problem that wasn't even there anymore?
Now, inside of the Candy Palace's halls, the quick gusts of cool air made it's way around. The palace staff quickly went to go check if any windows were open that might be letting in a cold draft. That was all that was needed for her to sneak in. The white haired sorceress creeped around, checking each hall to see if the coast was clear. All was well until--
"AHHH!!"
A maid had been around mopping up the floor as the Ice Queen had come around the corner. Before the maid had a chance the wet floor that she had been currently mopping froze. The ice continued to form and started crawling up her legs until she was just a sparkling ice sculpture. A wild, crazed smirk curled at the sorceress' lips at the sight. She walked confidently on the ice towards her sculpture.
"Be careful, the floor's a little slippery~" She teased, giving a snicker to herself.
Many other castle staff members faced the same frosty fate that afternoon. None of them seemed to escape from her in time, she was just too fast. The questions remaining were, why was she here and what did she want? With everything that Ice Queen did there was always something behind her antics.
There was something that she was looking for, but she didn't even know what it was looking for. All she knew was that she was in need of something for her latest potion - Glob knows what concoction she had brewing.
Sounds of glass shattering and frustrated groans came from the kitchen. The cooks had tried to fight off the mad queen, but failed miserably. Some did escape out to fetch help, while the others that stayed behind weren't even frozen into statues -- they were already standing frozen in fear. None of them really made a move to face her, they just stood there watching her go through cabinets.
Jars, boxes, bowls, and even shelves had been knocked to the floor. What a mess the kitchen had quickly become. Ice Queen had caused such a mess that it was enough to build some confidence in one of the chefs.
"Y-you can't just barge in here unwelcomed and disturb us! Look at this kitchen! You've ruined many ingredients and soiled perfectly fine baked goods! On top of that, you've been causing harm to innocent candy people! You...You evil witch!"
He stood there breathing heavily from his outburst, the room had grown silent. The other cooks held their breath as the Ice Queen slowly turned to face them. Her stare was just as cold and hard as her heart, her eyes that were as white and cloudy as a blizzard looked right into their souls, and she rose a wispy brow at them. Quietly and slowly did she approach the chef that dared to call her out. Shards of glass from broken jars and bottles cracked underneath her heels as she came face to face with the one particular candy person.
Ice Queen was much taller in comparison to him, so she had to lean down slightly to get at eye level with him. She didn't say a word, she simply took hold of him by the neck firmly, lifting him up and off the floor. Her grasp had him in a squirming panic as he felt what was like frostbite start to choke him.
The sorceress spun on a heel for the rest of them to see, the dangling chef gasping for air...For release.
"None of you cut this kind of attitude with me unless you'd like to end up like this poor soul right here. Understand?"
They quickly nodded.
The candy people were weak and pathetic in the Ice Queen's mind, there was no need for her to waste her time on them. Looking at the chef in her hand with a bored expression, she forcefully and carelessly threw him against the wall before going back to the cabinets.
