im right about everything duh

How do you guys feel about a murder mystery that never gets solved and it’s more about the unhealing wound the victim’s girlfriend lives with for 40+ years? More of an ode to the murder victims that fall through the cracks in public consciousness? A weed smoking former foster child with several shoplifting arrests that is living out of his car and trying so hard to find a direction to follow in life but he never makes it out and never makes it to 20? And this is, of course, taking place in a small town in North Carolina in the 1980s.
