Recent asks made me want to visualize Farka's unique horns a little better, started doodling and oops this happened.

So like, Rytlock freed Balthazar without realising who he was (to be fair random unarmoured old guy in chains who looks nothing like the humans portrayed him) But Balthazar entirely could've betrayed Rytlock right there. In fact I really think that he meant to.

You're telling me Balthazar opened a portal to Tyria for Rytlock which dropped him in the middle of an Elder Dragon-rampaged jungle? He was not expecting him to live that.

But Rytlock did anyway, and just so happened to be right where the Commander was struggling to survive against Mordremoth's onslaught in Verdant Brink.

If Rytlock had not freed Balthazar, not relit Sohothin and not got that instant ticket out of the Mists, chances are the Commander would've died right there in Verdant Brink. And unlike in PoF there would not have been a soul-eating monster to give us our life energies back, it was only there once the Gods had fully left.

Meaning freeing Balthazar lead to ridding the world of Mordremoth, and having the Commander alive, now with a dragon scion who was instrumental in finishing Balthazar off in the end.

What if feat. "Wilson"

In a World where she had to fight for her own freedom - she kills her grandfather after he first took her mother, then her brother and finally her father. She unleashes her powerful magic and breaking free from the former prison, which is the flame legion. She turns into a lone Warrior - wandering through the world and seeking revenge for all her suffering in killing every flame she finds. She has huge problems in finding trust in other Charr. But maybe she finds peace among the Norn. And trust among the Olmakhan, learning to heal with her water magic, instead of causing pain with her fire magic. And with a little luck, only her burned face will remember of a terrible time in her past.
