Sometimes, the washing machine decided to rebel and...yep. Not fun! The laundry area still uses the OLD 50¢ coin so for the year 4s reading this, start collecting them! There was a kitten (from utown, I heard) which stayed around hostel for a couple of days before it disappeared. (And apparently there was a tiny snake sighting around the hostel building outside as well wow)

Aaannnnnddddddd we're now having exams already. Time really sped up didn't it? The year 5s are down to our last few weeks/months-ish in hostel and it seems like we've barely just started living here. Many people went home after the first exam as well, pretty quiet in here! But I guess those louder ones are still around and occupying the first floor benches :) I think I'll actually miss hostel, for it's nice view of the school and beyond, the sunsets, the pretty night sky when the it's so clear and you can see many stars dancing around with the moon, the windy days, the stormy and rainy nights, the simplicity, the convenience to school, etc. Shall enjoy and treasure the last few weeks!

To get packed dinner for non-vegetarians and non-Muslim students: 1. Go to the BO (boarding office) and ask the guard for the sheet of paper 2. Write your name 3. Go to the BO to collect your dinner at ~6.30pm The staff at the hostel stall(?) usually don't allow people to just pack from there directly until they "interrogated" you and you say that you've told the office. But once you've written in the sheet they'll get the food for you (including the fruit!) so don't waste the food! Just conveniently head down at 6.30pm to collect the food yeah!

So the 11pm rule had recently been reinforced because too many people (mainly the guys) have been having consecutive sleepovers in their friends’ clusters. Everyone has to be back in their room sleeping/studying by 11pm now! Those caught so far have been spotted on the CCTV (they actually zoomed in, apparently) and had instructions from the PA system to directly head down to the BO to receive their punishment..full day hourly report!

Most of us are back in hostel now. Everyone probably cleaned up the room already, it wasn't too dusty, thank goodness! And they changed the curtains so yay! Saw this trademark patch of green turn lifeless and brown though, wonder what happened...

Anyone can stay in hostel! But not advised for students too young (like year 1) to live here because they're unlikely to be independent enough to live without their parents-Admin Casaloto

The hostel milo isn’t just brown colored water anymore! Rush for it during Mondays and Thursdays dinner, it usually finishes within 10 minutes

Also, I'll be signing off as Admin Aves. because "different admin" keeps getting confusing.

You can actually request to use the TV room during study time if you have a valid reason! Study time usually bans anyone from going in but if you ask the person in charge and actually have a valid reason to, you and your friends can actually have permission to stay inside
