“I’m just saying, you might be getting in a little bit over your head here.”

“And what I’m saying is that we can have this conversation at a more appropriate time don’t you think Eunbi?” You struggle to catch your breath as you get no more than a few seconds for recovery without someone charging at you.

“You’ve been saying that for 4 months Y/N, now is as good a time as ever!” There’s a sickening crunch that you’re all too familiar with behind you but you know if you lose focus for even a split second it’ll be over for you so you ignore it.

“Okay well it isn’t impossible. Difficult? Absolutely. Impossible? Fuck no.” You wince after catching a glimpse of the unnatural position you left a man’s arm in after he tried to attack you from behind.

“No no no no no 4 is doable but 7? You’re going to do it with 7 guys? At the same time?” You toss a knife that was hidden in your boot to Eunbi who then proceeds to use it to her advantage against the 2 incoming attackers.

“What am I gonna do? Say no? These are 7 men coming for my life girl. I’m sure they have no qualms about killing me so why should I hold back when it comes to them?” The roundhouse kick you just performed doesn’t go quite as planned as you stumble slightly making you lose your focus enough to feel a stinging pain across your cheek. Blood slowly trickles out of your new wound and down your face.

“I just got blood on my BRAND NEW shirt. My mom bought this for me asshole!” You manage to disarm the man in front of you and immediately push his head down towards your knee, landing a hard blow right to his nose and disorienting him.

“Great, now I have blood on my pants. Just perfect, what an incredible way to end a knife fight. I appreciate it. NOT.” You send a barrage of kicks towards the nearly unconscious man on the floor until you’re sure he’s out like a light or Eunbi has to forcefully pull you away, either one works.

“That was just overkill. I get it you can beat 15 grown mens asses in 10 minutes but this is serious Y/N. 7 men are currently looking to assassinate or imprison you and you plan on hunting them down one by one to take them out before they beat you to it. I know what you’re capable of but this seems too risky.” Eunbi has a genuine look of worry on her face as the two of you make a quick escape of the building littered with unconscious or dead bodies. Her worry is reassuring because in this line of work you don’t know who your real friends are until you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place or in your case between life or death.

“I can either take care of the problem now and not have to worry about it or live the rest of my possibly incredibly short life in constant fear of being killed. I’ll go with the former for my own sanity thank you very much.” Right before exiting the building you stop momentarily to grab a small black pistol from the ground. It’s feels nice and heavy in your hands, just the way you like it.

“Besides, they’re just 7 dumb men. How hard could this really be?”
