Hi! Iâm sort of late to The Rain. Watched all 3 seasons, have ISSUES with s3, but Iâm still craving content and Iâm surprised with how little there is? Is it because the show isnât very big or did they destroy their own fandom with that ending?? It especially seems like content disappears with s3. Anyway, curious to hear from someone who maybe saw it go down in real time. Thanks!
Hi! Unfortunately, the fandom just isnt super big. I think this is because the show isn't an American show that Netflix truly cared about advertising and showcasing. If it had been set in the US and marketed towards their audiences as opposed to a Scandinavian show with the option of being translated into English, I feel that it would have done much better. Also, season three premiered at the beginning of August, so itâs still fairly new to the world and perhaps thatâs why there isn't much content available.Â
To be honest, Iâm really not a fan of the last season either. It felt rushed and ingenuine, and the ending didn't feel true to the characters I have known and loved. I think a lot of fans feel this way, and itâs hard not to. We waited a year for this season, we built up the stories in our heads the way the show-writers couldn't, and it was extremely underwhelming to see the final product.Â
