The Tomb of Allama Muhammad Iqbal is located in the Hazuri Bagh just outside the Badshahi Mosque. Sir Iqbal (1877-1938) is not only known for his exceptional poetic works in Persian and Urdu, but also for his struggle for the rights and independence for Muslims in British India.

Charing Cross, renamed, as Faisal Square (alternatively, Faisal Chowk) on Mall Road, now officially renamed as Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam to honour the founder of the nation, is one of the classical examples of urban open spaces laid down during the British Period. It acquired its present form over a century and thus, contains many layers of the nation's history. Despite its historical, architectural and national significance, there is a dearth of available literature pertinent, to it.
Minar-e-Pakistan is a tall minaret in Iqbal Park Lahore, built in commemoration of the Pakistan Resolution. The minaret reflects a blend of Mughal and modern architecture, and is constructed on the site where on March 23, 1940, seven years before the formation of Pakistan, the All India Muslim League passed the Pakistan Resolution (originally called Lahore Resolution), demanding the creation of Pakistan.

The Samadhi of Ranjit Singh is the mausoleum of the Sikh ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It was constructed by his sons Kharak Singh and Duleep Singh.
The Lahore Fort, also known as Shahi Qila, is believed to have been originally built long before 1025 AD, but was destroyed many times during wars in the region. However, the existing version of the fort was built during the Mughal rule in India, with some contributions later by the Sikh ruler Ranjit Singh.
