Well, a lot of us make mistakes for love, don’t we? Snow can get boring real fast, especially somewhere as cold as Canada, so maybe that was a blessing in disguise. Oh, thank you. That means a lot, really.

I want to say there is no such thing as going overboard but I did fall into a sugar crash quite quickly after eating a whole lot. Season 2 (which also returns later this month). 

I’m sure it helped get you through the day! And honestly, a lot of things can be excused, if that’s the case. Anything to help the day go by. I’m sure you’re more than excited for plots to thicken this go around! Did you ever think you’d be a superhero, growing up? That’s usually what people aspire to be.

Both pouches seem big enough to equal out a whole bottle of wine, and i’m gonna need to test it out in the next few days just to see how much “growth” it gives me, cause that’ll then depend on what my cover story is. Cause telling a bunch of people i got a boob job, only for it to be followed the next few weeks with them not being there will just cause questions - then again, it’s an excuse to keep wearing the wine bra! Please, that’s exactly what i thought too….or it’d have to be one hell of a strong shot if it were just lipstick. Cause people would just get weirdly suspicious if that thing were bigger then normal.

I imagine they would make a bra that would allow for more than a bottle, which would only make everything all the more big... Any excuse would be welcome, but what happens when you wear something that’s revealing? People would catch on to everything then. There would be a straw coming out of your chest. I think? That is how those work, yes? An aged to perfection kind of whiskey or cognac might make things better, but even still, lipstick is small. All I’ve gathered from this is that if we’re ever pictured with a purse that’s above average in size, we’re probably packing a bunch of airplane bottles in makeup containers.

You ever came up with the idea of ice cream seriously needs all of the awards. I doubt they are still alive, but they just deserve everything. So many broken hearted girls need to thank them. I don’t have children, but the younger ones of my family or my friends children really do like to get their hands on anything. Especially sweet wise.

It’s been around for damn near forever now, so I highly doubt it as well, but I feel like they should have been offered some kind of award for their discovery. I feel like I read somewhere that it’s gone back to BC times, so we’re just going to have to pay homage in any way we can - a sundae, perhaps. Sweets are something that most people can get behind, and children just hone in on the stuff. I swear, I’ve eaten far too many cookies in the pantry to keep the sweet smell of delicious away from wandering eyes.

You may call me princess if you like. Princess McKinnon. Does it have a ring to it?She was a total badass, but I can’t be a badass. Maybe I could be the princess of comedy? So have I, really. When you think about it.

I’m not too sure if if should be Princess McKinnon or just Princess, in general. I’m trying to think of which one would sound better, and I’m leaning more towards the latter here. I’m sure you could be a comedic badass; I’ve seen you do just that already! And you know, a badass in general. 

I obviously let you have your ice cream and Gilmore Girls session but I’m going to steal you one night this week. You’re going to do what I want to do with no complaints, got it?!

Obviously. And it was pretty damn relaxing, if I do say so myself. I’m sure you would have made it all the more, or at least kept me from plowing through as much ice cream as I did, but such is life. What if I don’t agree to these terms? What are we going to be doing? What? What? What?

Oversharing is an issue where it shouldn’t be. I know way too much about some friends sex and bathroom lives. Way too much. Those conversations get awkward because how do you stop them without sounding rude or embarrassing them?!

A soured face is usually the way to go with that one, but even then, you’re left feeling relatively rude-ish. Sharing of bathroom habits will never be something I understand, so I’m glad to hear I won’t have to worry about hearing yours in the future! And as long as things aren’t too detailed when it comes to sex lives, I’m pretty okay with hearing stories. They can be pretty interesting at times.

I can’t see your boys hanging out in a hunting lodge look but then again I can. It’s odd but fitting? Ignore me. Kirklands is like crack so expect to get addicted! Every single time I go to their online store or in there store I come out with things. It’s a good thing I don’t steal mugs so you’ll never have to worry about it.

They’re adorable kind of wall mountings; not anything that would make them actually think of hunting - if that makes sense. And I’d like to think it would be something they’d be okay with, anywho, as they’d definitely be able to survive in the wilderness, if it were up to my ex. I’ll blame you for any addiction that ensues from it, but it’ll be one of those thankful blames. I can’t imagine you’d have anywhere to put one, if you did steal them. One of my aunts has a ridiculous amount of mugs scattered throughout her cabinets because she collects them; please don’t ever be like her. There. Are. So. Many. 

I’ve never really gotten many nicknames in my time (unless you count shortening ‘Kathryn’ to ‘Kate’), but I think the best one I have ever gotten was from my dear friend Leslie Jones. This was more of an accidental nickname, but me and this amazing woman have worked together for about three years. Now, in case you didn’t know my name is Kate McKinnon. I know that, but after a year of knowing me Leslie came up to me and said, “you alright Kate Middleton?”. After correcting her and letting her know what my actual name was she then said, “McKinnon. Then who is Kate Middleton?”, I simply replied, “a princess, bitch.”. I didn’t particularly minded having the same name as a princess in that time. Though I probably act nothing like a princess…at all.

Does this mean we can call you princess now? Because that’s all I gathered here. And I think you could be any kind of royalty you’d like, if Disney’s anything to go by these days. Merida didn’t quite fit in the princess role and look at her! A definite bad ass, paving her own way. I’ve only ever gone by a nickname - well, for the most part.

Sudden boob growth would be either a blessing for a dress or people would just think you’re padding a little extra and that’s that. I can’t imagine it being too much of a dramatic change by how it’s suppose to work?…but anything seems to be a dramatic change if there ain’t much cleavage there anyway, so cover stories would have to be a thing, and i’d probably end up blurting out something that’d bite me in the ass. That’s very true, actually. I applaud that one! there was a lipstick on the list too along with other makeup flasks…so the party really will be in the bathroom.

I don’t mind where my chest is at now, but I wouldn’t mind a bit of a growth here and there... I wouldn’t know what to do with breasts getting all too big, though, as we all know there’d be at least an entire bottle of wine poured into one of those bad boys for any of us around here... And chances are we’d go for a big one at that. I feel like any cover story would blow up because you’d have to keep it going... and always wear the bra in public. A party in the bathroom sounds like the best way to go! Women usually flock together on that trip anyway. Lipstick flasks seem way too small, though... which makes me sound like I have a problem here.

I relate to that so much too. There is a selection of things that are more of an emotion than anything else. I really want ice cream now. It is always a bonus when there is no one to share food with…or maybe that’s just me.

Ice cream is seriously one of the greatest things to ever be invented, and if the person who first discovered it was still around, I might give ‘em a big ol’ kiss for making it happen. And you know, I don’t mind sharing all that much, but little ones have a tendency to try to sucker you out of just about everything. All of the sudden you went from ‘one bite’ to half your stash missing, and I’m too much of a chump to stop it from happening when it comes to them. Having your own is always a blessing, if you ask me. 

You said something that I just related to. How awful is it having to share desserts with your kids? My three year old just loves to become cuddly when he realizes that mom has a snack. So you enjoy that ice cream! I’m sure it’s well deserved!

I love my boys dearly, but sharing desserts and sweets with them is the worst thing ever! Especially when it’s something I’ve been craving. But of course, I do so with a smile on my face - especially when it means getting them all hyped up and sent back with their daddy. I feel like snacks are something you’ve got to be creative with when eating. All of the sudden you’re going to the bathroom a little longer to savor a piece of chocolate or cramming it all in after bed time! It’s been so good; that’s for sure. 

As someone who continuously talks about bringing the occasional flask to certain award shows, it’s the likes of the golden globes where the shit ton they give you at the table is why i don’t even have to take one along tomorrow night. Yet the amount of times I’ve spoken openly on the red carpet, or “Joked” about those secret wine bras, i was actually sent a few…with a letter that just said good luck; but the part that sparked my interest the most was a list that came in the package. It had a variety of “hidden flask” items you could choose from. It went from hairbrush, walking stick,ect. to my personal favorite, lotion / sunscreen .And i wouldn’t even be subtle about it. I’d take that lotion out and just chug the whole thing like it were nothing, and this is actually why i shouldn’t be allowed these things.

I’ve thought about buying a wine bra on more than one occasion, but I feel like they would draw too much attention, no? All of the sudden my breasts would be fuller than normal, and you know, those are the kind of things that spark questions... And I wouldn’t hesitate to tell someone it’s all wine, which would defeat the purpose. Cold wine, hard nipples vs. warm body, warm wine. A hairbrush, though! Slightly convenient for those bathroom visits. 

You know, I could do without the cold that Vancouver is giving but I am just really happy to be back. As much as I have loved the condos (and trust me, I really have), I love being back on set. It feels good to be busy with everything going on lately. I just love being back in that atmosphere and to be able to, honestly, distract myself. Also, my love for being here also has to do with the fact that a cotton candy machine was on set today and I might have gone overboard on cotton candy. 

Is there even such a thing with going overboard, when it comes to cotton candy? There’s nothing quite a sugar rush like what you get from a batch of the good stuff! It’s the greatest ever. I think the perks of foods behind the scenes makes everything all the better! Which season is this that you’re working on?

How are you doing is something that can be answered short so I definitely agree with you there. I just don’t get why people expect others to answer such specific questions with small phrases. I want to hear what made the person’s holiday great or horrible, if they traveled and where if they did, who was with them… tell me it all! It’s so hard to carry on a conversation with someone who answers things so short and I love conversations.

A lot of the time it’s just something that gets pushed aside like a hello, which is odd, but I’m okay with that one happening. I sometimes feel like I say a bit too much when it comes to something simple, so I completely understand. It’s better to say too much than too little, for the most part. Sometimes, people share far too much about subjects that should be left at ‘okay.’  I hope you enjoyed your holidays, though! I hope they were something to write home about!

dangling on a string is exactly how i need it. I’d probably complain cause i wanted it, but there’s nothing new there. I tend to use the “reward” excuse to get my ass up, and after the rush of the holidays is when i need my ass to get up the most. I haven’t had a Klondike ice cream bar in forever! and that needs to change, cause i seen they made“cookie sandwiches” which just sounds like something personally made for me. Anyone as passionate as us about ice cream knows that anything with fruit will always automatically be considered healthy, no matter what anyone else say, or no matter the amount of chocolate floating around it. I’ve cleared out my fair share of LA parlors, but when you say “weird” i want questionable flavors that’re yummy as fuck, and not anything that’ll make me wanna puke.

I’m just picturing you with a fishing pole that has an ice cream cone dangling in front of you, while you constantly run/reach for it. I think rewarding yourself is the best way to go about motivating yourself to get up and go! All I’ve gathered from this conversation is the way to your heart is with cookies and ice cream; both of which I completely concur with! Most banana splits have cherries or pineapples, as well, so hell - it’s like a damn fruit salad! And that is something that just evens everything out. Jalapeno, bacon, maple and flavors like that which would be ‘weird’ are SO GOOD as ice cream flavors, and I recommend you trying all of them, if not all together. 

Maybe my own gym adventures would be a lot more successful if i had a ice cream tub in front of me for encouragement of knowing i’ll be getting ice cream afterwards. I’m not sure if they do together but I’ve ask for both of those scooped into one before, cause anything with “cookie” in front of the flavor is an automatic want. I’ve honestly gotten sundaes the size of my head before, which were bliss. I can appreciate me some pistachio, but a lot more the mint. I need more maple ice cream in my life those. I really need to go on an ice cream road-trip of sorts. There may be flavors i haven’t discovered yet!!

I think we can manage to make an ice cream sandwich or cone float in front of you on a string, so you’re constantly running forward to grab it. Maybe bonbons? Bonbons are so underrated! Much like a klondike bar. There are so many people out there that haven’t even had one of those bad boys in their life! Banana splits always make me feel like I’m being remotely healthy, so they’re usually my go to ice cream sundaes... obviously the banana just makes things okay. Mint flavors are definitely something I’m keen on - especially when mixed with chocolate! There’s got to be some good shops in LA that would have a bunch of weird flavors. Ice cream and froyo days are the best to ever exist.
