                  A whisper of air passed silently through his teeth as the blonde set about gathering the necessary items to revive last night’s dinner. As his fingers wrapped around a cream colored, microwave-safe plate, his eyes switched over to the one behind him, though his face remained forward. It was best to let the matter slide than to argue about her own health to her. She knew herself best, after all.

As he moved to the refrigerator, Jun pushed the matter aside and turned instead to her next question. Admittedly, he wasn’t much for idle chitchat, but at least now, judging from her words, it was obvious the vampire hadn’t been on his tail all day. He wondered idly exactly what she had been doing as he ungraciously placed a plateful of leftovers in the microwave and pushed the buttons to make it go.

Sliding two fingers down his neck, Jun undid his tie and pulled it free. With his back now facing the microwave, his eyes now turned to face hers.

          --when the microwave began to sing gently in its workings to heat up nourishment,              body slipped from counter top, hands to rest again rear as cushion against the hard              surface.              bared feet to have toes wiggle against what she imagined to be the cold floor              as her mind began to recap the events transpired in lonesome time.              she answered the hunts call && fed quietly upon a lonesome soul, ensuring not              to drain too much nor cause fatal wounding.              the victim (as many did) came to collapse in their fear && the ever kind hearted              girl patched up puncture before bringing them to a safer place.              but no way she’d mention any of that.              so she settled on simple.
