Hi.  I barely make original posts, but…I’m between a rock and a hard place both mentally and financially.  I’ve been sitting on getting a gofundme set up for about a week now since a particularly bad mental health day.

I can’t afford my meds, and due to quitting an increasingly stressful and unsympathetic workplace (a rant for another post), I’m pretty damn sure I’ll barely have enough to cover the bills for the rest of the month, much less rent for next month.

I hate the fact that I have to ask the internet for help, to rely on the kindness of total and complete strangers to help me make it through when it should be family and medicaid.  As it is, I’ve exhausted all other options available to me right now. I’m currently on the waiting list to see a county-provided pyschiatrist and therapist, but those are both five months long.  I haven’t had meds for over six months or seen my own therapist (who I get along with very well!) for well over a year at this point.

On top of that?  I’m getting letters from my tech college for $1,520.00 that I apparently owe, even though financial aid would have covered it last semester.  (another mess that deserves its own, separate post.)

I already have a new part-time job that pays better, but doesn’t have guaranteed hours and that I have already missed shifts due to my mental health sending me into stress-sickness and throwing everything off-kilter.

I can get three months worth of medication from Walmart for around $50.  That’s what I need to take care of immediately, so I can make the shifts that I’m scheduled for.  

The next most important thing is to make sure I can cover rent, which is $450/mo., and if it’s late, I’ll incur a $50 late fee, marking that up to $500.

I hate having to ask for help, but here I am. I have a paypal.me set up, and the link is below.  I’ll still be setting up a gofundme later to share on Facebook, but anything helps.  Even a reblog.
