Even though parties and going out wasnโt something that James typically did, he was actually enjoying himself quite a bit. But after a few hours of dancing, he just needed to take a break. The loud music and crowd of people was slowing becoming a little too much for him so he was on the search for somewhere quiet, not really paying much attention to where he was going or to any signs that might have warn him to not enter. As he pushed opened a door and it closed behind him, he gave a sigh of relief against the muffled music and noise. James took a second to take a deep breath that was instantly ruined by someone yelling. He hadnโt even noticed them when he entered the room and as she turned around, he felt his brow furrow. He knew her.ย โSorry. I had no idea. I can go, itโs completely fine.โ James said with a smile, trying to put together why she looked familiar, since he hadnโt really been able to get a good look at her face.
Recognising the voice that responded back, Freya had been quick to scramble to her feet โ well, as quickly as her drunken state allowed her โ head shaking as she reached out to stop any movement of his to leave.ย โShit, James. Itโs Freya. Hey.โ She waved a hand as if to dismiss her words from before, not caring for the disturbance if it had been him. In fact, she wouldnโt have even considered him to be a disturbance in the first place. โYouโre an exception,โ She jokingly whispered, as if there was anybody else in the room that could have potentially heard. Gaze soft, and smile even softer, Freya had squeezed gently at his forearm.ย โYou alright, though? The partyโs not in here, Iโm afraid. Itโs just me, some quiche and a little bit of quiet.โย
