it always amazes me when people somehow think just because you’re doing something different than what you’ve been known for your entire life, it means the last thing failed and now you’re trying to grasp for whatever relevancy you can by trying something that’s now deemed more popular or current. why the hell would anyone stick to just ONE thing? do people listen to only ONE genre of music their entire life? no. do people only eat ONE thing their entire life? no. do people only DRESS a certain way and wear certain clothing their whole life? no. everyone always talks about how change is good and normal and a part of life, but specifically when a musical artist decides to go a completely different route with their work and try something new and out of their comfort zone, they shouldn’t because they’re best known for whatever it was they did before? the message that personally sends ME is if i’m not screaming about the problems i had when i was in my 20’s…………then i’m trash and not worth anything else….hmmmmmm……🤔
